Hab diese Board seit 2 Wochen im Test, läuft einwandfrei keine Probleme. C&Q funktioniert einwandfrei. Das Board ist ausreichend schnell. Einzig ist das es keine oder wenig Overlockingmöglichkeiten hat, was für mich persönlich allerdings nur zweitrangig ist.

Ich habe vor ein paar Wochen ein 755-A2 in meinen Office-Rechner gesetzt. Läuft mit einem Sempron 2600+ (Palermo) @ 2,0 GHz.

Bis jetzt alles einwandfrei stabil, das ist für mich die Hauptsache.

Das BIOS 1.0g ermöglicht anders als frühere Versionen einen HTT-Takt bis 255 (vorher 232). Damit habe ich den Palermo auf besagte 2 GHz bekommen.

Kleinere Probleme:

Mit zwei Speicherriegeln (512 MB "Empaq", doublesided) kann ich den Speicher nur mit langsamen Timings (CL3, 2T) laufen lassen. Memtest86+ läuft sogar nur mit "DDR333" fehlerfrei durch- ohne Übertaktung der CPU, wohlgemerkt, also HTT auf 200 MHz. Ein einzelner Speicherriegel auf DDR400 läuft auch mit CL2,5 und 1T stabil.

Außerdem muß ich jedenfalls bei meiner Radeon 9000 ViVo die AGP-Transferrate von 4x auf 2x heruntersetzen, was performancetechnisch natürlich Wurscht ist. Mit AGP 4x ist schon der Windows-Desktop extrem zäh und hakelig, VPU-Recover springt an (in 2D!), 3D-Anwandungen lassen sich nicht starten. Eigenartig, vermute aber, daß es an der Karte liegt.

Ich würde das Board jedenfalls wieder kaufen, wegen der einwandfreien Stabilität.

hat das Board jetzt doch PCI/AGP fix ,weil du es mit 255 (pci 42,5mhz) laufen lässt ?

bei Xbitlabs steht höher als 205 geht nicht ( ~34mhz pci )?

Hallo!

hatte nur Ärger mit diesem Brett ,schon beim installieren von Xp ( AMD64 3400+ ,Raid 0) verschiedene Markenrams und NTs und Biosupdate usw... sowas hab ich noch nie erlebt, ,evt. wars ein Montagsbrett ??? ( es hat kein Agp/Pci Fix )

habs zurück und das Asus A8V-X genommen (war 10euro teurer),ohne jedes Problem installiert und sofort 100% stabil ,
(das heisst erst mal bei neukauf : 12h Prime und gleichzeitig 3dMark 2001loopings ohne abruch)

ich gebs A8V-X nicht mehr her, läuft mit dem Newcastle 3400+ --> 1A *buck*
(Cool&Quite geht auch , kein Agp/Pci Fix)

danke erstmal für deine Antwort. Also mittlerweile hab ich das Board
am laufen ohne Probs ausser halt mit dem anlauf.

Wollt mir zuerst auch ein Asus holen.
Aber hab mir gedacht ich Überzeug mich mal von der 64Bit geschichte.

Wie auch immer, für den moment läuft alles stabil.

Habe das Board jetzt sein ein paar Wochen.
Keine Abstürze, oder Probleme

Das Upgrade vpn einem K7S5Apro Rev5.0 klappte ohne probleme (Keine Neuinstallation, XP lief sorfort stabil)

(nur die ATX-Blende vom K7A5A passte nicht nicht exakt (der LAN anschluß ist um 2 mm verschoben) mußte ich doch das mitgelieferte verwenden.

OC kann mann vergessen.

Tipp: Nach einer Neuinstalation installiert die Treiber CD nicht alle USB2.0 Treiber. den fehlenden muß man über den Gerätemanager "per Hand" von CD installieren. (Sonst wundert man sich das alle USB-Anschlüsse nur USB1.1 sind)

UC (UnderClocking) per CnQ geht gut: mein Sempron 3000+ läuft bei 800MHz bei nur 0.9V. (verwende CrystalCpuID. Da das Board nicht sebstständig die Lüfterdrehzahl drosselt, habe ich mir ein Adapterkabel gelötet, (Paar EUR materialkosten) welches den CPU-Lüfter temperaturabhänig drosselt - Aktuell habe ich 35°C CPU-Temp bei stehendem Lüfter ;D )

Ich hab das Mainboard siet ein paar Tagen in Betreib. läuft bei mir Einwandfrei als Testserver unter Windows 2000.
