So eine einfache Installation hab eich selten gesehen, bis aud die Power Leds usw. das ist nicht besonders gut beschrieben,selbst auf dem Mobo konnte man das schier nicht lesen.Die Installation ging recht flott, muß aber dazu sagen das ich den SIS 745 Chipsatz davor drin hatte, und dadurch nicht viel machen musste^^.

Günstiges, gutes, problemloses Board-
und dank Performance-Bios auch flott.
Es "fühlt" sich einfach geschmeidig an damit zu arbeiten- kanns nicht besser ausdrücken.
Ein würdiger Nachfolger für mein K7S5A, das jetzt wohl demnächst als Basis für 'nen "Wohnzimmer-PC" dienen wird.

Sehr gutmütiges Board.
Der Bios Support ist auch akzeptabel.
Als performance Bios kann ich das von HoneyX empfehlen. Da ist auch das Cool Bit gesetzt und ein bischen an den Speichertimings kann rumgespielt werden.
Overclockers werden an diesem Board nciht viel Freude haben, denn es bietet keine VCore Einstellungen. Stabil läuft es bei mir bis 214MHz FSB. Da macht aber entweder das Board oder die CPU schlapp (1 Riegel DDR400)

Habe das Motherboard auch schon eine ganze Weile. Habe es nun auch auf 1.9 released, läuft bis jetzt alles wunderbar.

Ich hatte mit einem Athlon XP (Thoroughbred-B 2400+ @default) öfters Warnmeldungen wegen erhöhter CPU-Temperatur, trotz ausreichend durchlüftetem Gehäuse. Ein Duron (Morgan 1200 @default) läuft einwandfrei. Keinerlei Probleme bei Installation und Betrieb, absolut stabil.

ich hab das teil im rechner meiner frau verbaut, da ich trouble und experimente dort garnicht gebrauchen kann. und dieses teil ist ein garant für stabilität genauso wie für einen geschonten geldbeutel. konkurrenzlos für sämtliche office-anwendungen, internet, kleine zockereien usw.

mein nforce2 ultra400 mit FSB 220DDR ist nicht wirklich so viel spürbar schneller und nicht annähernd so befriedigend, trotz des 4fachen preises seinerzeit!

Habe das Board bei einem Freund verbaut mit Barton 2500+, 512MB Infineon PC3200 und ner Ati 9600XT. Leider trotz wirklich aller Tricks nie 100% stabil in 3D-Games gekriegt. Wobei nach meiner Erfahrung die Ati9600XT eh etwas "zickig", naja, sagen wir mal zumindest mit recht engen Toleranzen ausgelegt ist.

Also zum gelegentlichen Spielen und allen Office Anwendungen ist das Board perfekt und dazu sehr günstig. Ubertakten ist zwar nur bedingt möglich aber das reicht für 40€ völlig aus.
Leider muss man Fast Write und AGP8x ausschalten das es auch in 3d Games keine Abstürze gibt.

Fazit: Gutes Board für Preisbewusste!!!

läuft ultra stabil

aber leider läuft die 7001 USB Bridge nicht so ganz 100% mit einigen Geräten zusammen

deswegen freezed ab und zu Windows wenn man ein USB Gerät entfernt

Aktualisierungsbericht:
Daß AGP 8x instabil läuft, liegt IMO auch an der Grafikkarte,
vermutlich zicken da ATIs eher rum.
Meine NVIDIA 6800 jedenfalls, die seit kurzem drin steckt, läuft stabil mit 8x.
Evtl. hilft eine BIOS-Aktualisierung, damit auch ATIs das mitmachen.

Wobei ich es nicht soo wichtig finde, da der Geschwindigkeitsunterschied im allgemeinen
höchstens messbar, aber nicht wirklich spürbar ist.
Und- Fastwrites bringt auf (sockel A) AMD-Systemen sowieso nix...

Ansonsten immer noch zufrieden, da einwandfrei Stabil, mit XP2500+ @3200+ und für mich flott genug.
Neustarts höchstens bei Treiber- oder Windows-Aktualisierungen.

Sonstige Komponenten:
2x Samsung 160 Gig SATA,
LG-Brenner, Plextor DVD-Brenner,
der Rest is eh onboard.
