FatalError bei Prime95---Bitte um Hilfe---

Hallo zusammen !

Habe heute im Sammelthread "Asus A8V Deluxe" gepostet dass mein Speicher nicht richtig erkannt wird, bzw. wenn ich die Timings so einstelle wie sie der Hersteller getestet hat, dass System instabil läuft.

AMD64 3500+(NewCastle), Asus A8V Deluxe Rev ??, Corsair XMS 2x 1Gbyte TWINX1024-3200C2 / DDR-400 (XMS-3200C2) / *2-3-3-6 / 2.5-3-3-6 , Samsung 160GB, Sapphire Radeon X850XT PE, BeQuiet450W. BiosVersion 1009.

Skelletor meinte, ich solle die Spannung für den Speicher auf 2,7 oder 2,8 V erhöhen. Und ich solle 2T deaktivieren.

Das habe ich getan. Memtest86 lief problemlos 4 Stunden.

Jetzt aber...Bei Prime95 kommt nach kurzer Zeit folgender Fehler:

FATAL ERROR: Rounding was 0.5, expected less than 0.4
Hardware failure detected, consult stress.txt file.

Was bedeutet das ??? ???

Ich möcht gern die Timings auf 2,5-3-3-6 laufen lassen. Wenn ich alles auf AUTO stehen lasse, laufen sie mit 3-3-3-8.

Die Werte bei Everest lassen bei 3-3-3-8 und 2T auch zu wünschen übrig. 5376Mb/s und 1365Mb/s sowie 62,2ns

Wer kann mir helfen.

Bin in solchen sachen leider ein Noob ;D

EDIT: Hab herausgefunden das es am 1T liegt. Stell ich im Bios wieder die Funktion auf Auto. läuft Prime weiter. Laut Everest läuft der Speicher dann auch mit 2T. Was kann ich tun ???

Den Newcastle verkaufen und nen gebrauchten Winni oder Venice holen.
Die haben nen verbesserten Speichercontroller.
Mein NC war mit im Bezug auf Speichertimings auch recht zickig.

mach mal bios 1014 drauf. ich hatte meinen corsair auch probleme mit der automatischen
erkennung (3-4-4-12 statt 2-3-2-6 ??? ), auch mit bios 1014. mein rechner war aber nie
mit dem a8v-deluxe abgestürzt, obwohl ich einen newcastle habe.

Hab das 1014 auch schon ausprobiert. Die Autom. Erkennung geht bei beiden nicht. Stell die Werte immer manuell ein. Wenn ich aber 1T aktiviere, läuft Memtest86 problemlos und Prime95 meckert diesen Fatal Error.

Was kann das sein ?? Liegt es wirklich am Newcastle ??? Dann hol ich mir mal probehalber nen Venice.

Bei 1T habe ich satte 600Mb/s bei everest mehr !!

Was kann ich tun ???

Habe das hier gefunden:

As with most new core releases from AMD, the Athlon 64 has gone though another memory controller upgrade that addresses at least one specific issue that has plagued the platform for a while. Anyone who has tried to populate all four DIMM slots on an Athlon 64 motherboard with double sided DIMMs (most are) would find that the board might not work, and if it did, the memory timings would have to be relaxed for it to be stable. In some cases, the memory frequency would drop to 333 MHz as well. Obviously, that isn't the way many customers wanted to work, so the new Venice core is set to allow all four DIMM slots to be populated with nearly all memory and run at standard 1T latencies at DDR400. Other minor improvements were made as well that should make the overall performance on the Venice core just slightly faster than the Winchester or Newcastle counterpart processors.

Finally, the Venice core is introducing a new lower default voltage for the Athlon 64 processors in the form of 1.4v. This should lower our power consumption, heat dissipation and also give that extra bit of room for overclockers to tweak the system.

Das was fett geschrieben ist, ist hoffentlich die Lösung meines Problems.
Ich werd mir nen Venice holen und hoffen das dann 1T ordentlich läuft.

Also, hab nun den Venice drin und es läuft problemlos mit 1T

Der Corsair läuft jetzt mit 1T @ 2-3-3-6 !!
