Intel baut Marktführerschaft bei IGP-Chipsätzen aus - NVIDIA verliert

Laut Zahlen von Jon Peddie Research (JPR) konnte Intel seine Dominanz im Markt der Chipsätze mit integrierter Grafik im ersten Quartal 2007 weiter ausbauen.

Während Intel nun einen Marktanteil von über 50 Prozent besitzt, büsste NVIDIA als einziger Hersteller Anteile ein. Aber trotz des Rückgangs um 2,3 Prozentpunkte bleibt man weiterhin zweitgrößter Anbieter in diesem Bereich.

Anmerkung: Die Tabelle ist in sich nicht ganz stimmig, da mit den vorliegenden Zahlen im vierten Quartal 2006 nur eine Summe von 99,9 Prozent zustande kommt.

Ist ja nur eine Erhebung. Aber die Platzierung wird schon stimmen.
IMHO wird der IGP Markt in Zukunft deutlich wichtiger werden, wenn man sich die Entwicklung im Kartenbereich ansieht: Steigerungen wie die letzten Jahre an Qualität, aber ein unzumutbarer Anstieg an Leistungsaufnahme.
Deshalb bin ich (als AMD-Fan) auch in Hoffnung gespannt auf "Fusion"

Das ist durchaus stimmig! Du verwendest gerundete Werte, damit ist doch klar, dass nicht exakt 100% herauskommen müssen. Bei 5 Rundungswerten ist jedes Ergebnis zwischen 99,8 % und 100,2 % richtig!

0,1% rest?

Ist die IGP eigentlich nur günstiger zu kontstruieren oder hat das auch andere Vorteile neben z.b. HT bei AMD?
