ATI hat sein CATALYST Grafikkarten- und Chipsatz-Treiberpaket in der Version 7.8 zum Download freigegeben. Voraussetzung für das CATALYST Control Center (CCC*) ist unter Windows XP ein installiertes Microsoft .NET Framework. A reboot of the operating system resolves the issue.<hr></blockquote>

Folding@Home is a distributed computing project designed by the Stanford University. The application performs intensive simulations of protein folding. This simulation will help researchers uncover how certain diseases develop. Folding@Home uses distributed computing to simulate protein folding, the workload is broken up into small work units and distributed across hundreds of thousands of computers over the internet. Resolved Issues for the Windows Vista Operating System

This section provides information on resolved issues in this release of the ATI Catalyst™ Software Suite for Windows Vista. These include:
  • Call of Duty->United Offensive: Having all of the in-game settings at their maximum levels along with the Catalyst™ Control Center->3D aspect set to Optimal Quality no longer results in the Windows Vista (64 bit) operating system failing to respond after a short period of game play.   • The default audio device is no longer set to ATI HD Audio after installation of the display driver for the ATI Radeon™ HD2900, HD2600, and HD2400. Further details can be found in topic number 737-28483

Ich glaub ehrlich gesagt nicht mehr dran :P

Aber irgendwie kommen mir die Zeiten zwischen den Releases immer kürzer vor... oder täuscht das? *noahnung*

achja, die Performancesteigerungen bei der HD2xxx klingen interessant, nur frag ich mich wieso ATI es nicht geschafft hat nen ordentlich treiber zum Release zu bringen, irgend nen tieferen Grund muss es ja geben.
 
also der Treiber läuft unter Kubuntu (Feisty) Problemlos. Aber leider wieder kein AIGLX.. :]

Das CCC Linux Edition ist aber immer noch sehr "rudimentär". ;D

Ich hab auf meinem Zweitrechner (Radeon 9700) schon lang kein Treiberupdate mehr gemacht... aber ich frag mich: Was soll das, da steam einzubauen??

Bei den HD2900 Karten liegt ein Gutschein für das HL² Episode 1&2 bei. Die haben wohl mit Value ein Deal gemacht. Sowas gabs ja schon beim Release zu HL². Ich finds nicht so schlimm da man es ja nicht mit installieren muß. Blöd nur das der Treiber durch Steam um 800kb größer wird. ;)

Naja, solange es auf Windows beschränkt bleibt ist es mir sowieso egal. ;D

Das amdcccle liegt nun wohl auch in einer 64bit Version vor.
 
und warum integrieren sie dann Stam direkt in den treiber? man könnte es auch über eine seperate exe installieren. Mir ist das suspekt.
 
In den einzelnen Dateien (also Treiber, CCC und Video Stream Treiber) ist afaik Steam nicht mit enthalten.
Ich hab davon bisher jedenfalls nix bemerkt. ;)

Es ist zumindest lästig.
 
Hat zufällig jemand, auf einem Thinkpad R60 mit ATI X1400, eine höhere Version als Lenovos Mobil 7.4er ohne Probs installiert, oder Infos ob dort sich jemand überhaupt die Mühe macht auf eine aktuellere anzupassen.

Der Download des Windows XP x64 Treibers funktioniert leider seit gestern Nacht (noch?) nicht, Fehlermeldung: "File not found." :(

File not found. Auch diese Meldung kommt ständig bei mir.

Mhhhhh was ist los AMD? Wo ist der CCC 7.8 ? Ich kann es nicht downloaden !!

Ist es nun endlich möglich das die im AMD 690G enthaltene Radeon X1250 auch als solche erkannt wird und das volle Einstellungsmenü zur Verfügung steht oder behauptet der Treiber nach einem geschlagenen halben Jahr immer noch es würde sich eum eine X1200 IGP handeln?
