Download Mozilla Firefox 3.6.9 / 3.5.12

Mozilla hat seinen freien Browser Firefox in der Version 3.6.9 veröffentlicht. In der neuen Version wurden 14 größtenteils kritische Sicherheitslücken, sowie 67 Fehler und mehrere Stabilitätsprobleme beseitigt.

Außerdem wurde der ältere Entwicklungszweig 3.5.x mit einem Update versorgt. In der neuen Version 3.5.12 wurden 14 größtenteils kritische Sicherheitslücken, sowie 14 Fehler und mehrere Stabilitätsprobleme beseitigt.

Die neuen Versionen sind auch schon über das automatische Update verfügbar.

Weiß jemand von irgendwelchen Problemem bei 3.6.9 oder spinnt nur die Updatefunktion ?
Auf mehreren Rechnern (XP, 7) bekomme ich vom 3.6.8 aus kein Update mehr angeboten, beim Neuaufsetzen von Systemen wird vom Microsoft Browsertool auch nur die 3.6.8 heruntergeladen.
Irgendwie seltsam das alles.

Kann ich bestätigen. Der Witz ist jedoch, dass in meiner Familie nur die Vista-Rechner betroffen sind.

Is mir jetzt schon paar mal aufgefallen dass die Antworten bei deinen news Post eingebetten werden.
Das is doch bestimmt keine Absicht.

Und hier die Erklärung: heise online - Mozilla schaltet Firefox-Updates ab

Zum Zeitpunkt der Heise-Meldung kam der 3.6.9 sowohl über die Update-Funktion als auch über das MS-Browsertool, beides unter Vista bzw Win7. Die ganzen Tage davor kam dort gar nichts. Alles sehr seltsam.
Heute abend oder morgen kommt dann wohl die neue Version 3.6.10 bzw 3.5.13, bei denen sollen dann die Abstürze behoben sein.

3.6.10 ist jetzt da.
