Hm, mal ne statistische Frage fernab solcher Patchdays :

MicroSoft hat ja mit jedem OS beteuert, das sicherste Windows aller Zeiten auszuliefern.
Hat jemand mal eine Statistik gesehen, wieviele Patches pro Windows herausgekommen sind ?

Mir ist so, als steige die Anzahl linear mit jedem OS an (?)
(zum Glueck gibt's immer schnellere Datenleitungen )

Die reine Anzahl sagt nicht viel aus. Man muss auch den Schweregrad berücksichtigen. Oft sind Lücken, die unter XP als Kritisch eingestuft sind, unter Vista aufwärts niedriger eingestuft. Das sieht man aber nur in den Details der Security Bulletins.

Frage mich ob für WindowsLiveEssentials nich auch Update noch kommen könnte.
Oder is die neue Version nur manuell neu zu Inst?
Bin ich grad irgendwie desinformiert.
