-ich kann das Board nur empfehlen
-stabiler Betrieb auch über 200 mhz FSB (natürlich ohne irgendwelche Volt mods-siehe EPOX *lol*

)
-der SATA-Adapter ist auch net verkehrt-bietet nur Abit

-leider gibt es wohl keine Led für SATA
-für mein erstes Abit(vorher MSI und Asus) bin ich aber sehr
zufrieden

Wie daswars schon meinte ein klasse Board super stabil auch oberhalb 200MHz und das sogar mit VDD= default.
NF7-S , ne sichere Bank!

Ja, VCore geht nur bis 1,85V und VDIMM sogar nur bis 2,7 was eher problematisch ist. Einen Testbericht brauchst Du sonst nicht
weil das die einzigsten Schwachstellen sind!

weiss nicht.nachdem ich hirni erstmal das bios vernichtet habe, kann ich noch garnicht sagen,ob ich mir das board nochmal hole.eigendlich wollte ich ja garkein abit mehr holen.aber es war günstig und verfügbar.wenn ich das miststück wenigstens vernünftig an´s laufen krich.schaun wa mal.hab ja jetzt genug tips bekommen.morgen weiss ich dann mehr.

so.board lüppt.hab mir win xp draufgespielt.bin recht zufrieden mit dem board.naja,das biosproblem,wenn man viel ändert.aber dann halt schritt für schritt.ich sach mal.gern holte ich mir das board wieder.

BIn sehr zufrieden mit dem Board. Läuft bei 10x200MHz rockstable mit schärfsten Timings. Habe im Singlechannelbetrieb auch eine sehr zufriedenstellende Performance.

Hab da das Board nun ca. 2 Wochen, und muß sagen super Stabil, wobei ich nich so der Overclocker bin, hab aber schon 212 X 7, mit Div. Speichertimings ausprobiert und nen Bench drüberlaufen lassen, alles ohne Freez und Absturz.
Dazu kommt noch mein etwas betagter Prozi Athlon 1400 C, und der gibt bekanntlich nicht ganz soviel her wie ein XP.
Also Leute Auch ohne Löchli nebem Söckli mehr als Empfelenswert.
REV. 1.0 Bios 1.3 (NF713), 1.5 (NF715) mache ich heute noch drauf poste euch morgen wie´s funzt.

Ich kann nur bestätigen super geiles Board, tolle Ausstattung und läuft mega Stabil.
Einziges Manko:
Ich kann nicht per Firewire meine Filme zurück auf die Kamera spielen, ist wohl das selbe Problem wie bei den Asus Board´s,
es scheint am Nforce2 Chipset zu liegen. Lösung neue Treiber für den Chip

Ich hatte bisher ein Kx7 333R, ein Kd7 und ein NF7-s in den Fingern. Und das NF7-s ist bei gleichen Einstellungen das schnellste Board. Besonders die Speicherperformance liegt fast 20 % über der des Kx7 333R (gemessen mit PC-Mark 2002). Schon beachtlich.

Ich bin auch recht zufrieden; (zumal ich bisher ein K7S5A hatte

)das Board läuft entgegen anderslautender Aussagen auch unter Win98(SE) zuverlässig, nur die Temperaturanzeigen haben mich "etwas" irritiert, entweder waren die beim ECS vorher zu niedrig oder sie sind jetzt (BIOS 1.6) zu hoch

Eine Sache finde ich auch etwas merkwürdig: warum zum Henker laufen die Lüfter an den Molexsteckern net gescheit an ?
Der CPU Lüfter läuft mit 2600U/m statt 3000, die Gehäuselüfter laufen garnicht erst an...mit meinem alten Board hatte ich in der Hinsicht auch keine Probleme - mit dem gleichen NT, versteht sich.

Ja,

das Abit-Board ist eigentlich nur ein Zweitboard gewesen, nämlich als mein EpoX nicht ging ( siehe auch Zuverlässigkeitsdatenbank -> EpoX -> EpoX 8RDA+ ).

Meine erste Wahl fiel also auf das EpoX, und das Abit kam dann als zweites.

Ich würd es mal als "Liebe auf den zweiten Blick bezeichnen"

Das Board läuft superstabil, ich hatte nie Probleme damit ( fairerweise muss man sagen, dass ich vor dem Kauf die Probs mit Win98 SE kannte und umgehen konnte ). Ich bin kein großer Übertakter, deswegen kann ich bezüglich der Grenze für den FSB nichts sagen. Auf Standardtimings läuft es jedenfalls spitze, und im Gegensatz zum EpoX-Board läuft es auch mit scharfen RAM-Timings stabil ( die innerhalb der Spezifikation liegen

).

Lediglich ein Problem trat bei mir auf, und ich bin bei Weitem nicht der Einzige, und dieses Problem sorgt dafür dass ich wohl demnächst das Board umtausche.

Wenn ich den Mikrofoneingang benutze des onboard-Sounds, dann rauscht es störend. Das Problem ist bei Abit jedoch bekannt und wird per RMA behoben.

Das ist jedoch das einzige Manko an einem ansonsten tollen Board, das ich mir jederzeit wieder kaufen würde.

Fazit :

Gerne wieder, Abit. Mein vorheriges Board war ebenfalls ein Abit-Board ( KT7 ) und mein nächstes wird wohl auch wieder eins sein ( diesmal gibts keinen Ausrutscher in Richtung Epox

)

Momentan läuft es mit der BIOS-Version 1.6 ohne Probleme, vor 1.3 hatte die Temperaturanzeige ein paar Bugs ( zu hohe Temperaturen ). Aber das waren auch nur "Schönheitsfehler".

Der aktive Lüfter der Northbridge gefällt mir übrigens sehr gut und ist bei Weitem nicht störend wie es in einigen Reviews beschrieben wird, da meine Grafikkarte so oder so lauter ist, ich ihn subjektiv also gar nicht heraushöre.

Auch das Handbuch weiss zu gefallen, sehr ausführlich und mit vielen Beschreibungen.

Ja, es gibt nix zu meckern bis auf die Geschichte mit der Soundkarte und das wurde bisher mit einer SB PCI 512 gelöst.

P.S.: Ich habe Windows 98 SE und es läuft mehr als nur stabil. Fällt mir grade ein weil JCDenton es erwähnte.

jo kann mich anschliessen aber danke Rev 1.2 nun Vcore von 1,1V bis hinauf zu 2,3V und DimmCore bis zu 2,9V und (weis net ob rev 1.0 und 1.1 auch schon hatten) änderung der spannung der NB. Total geil .... KAUFEN (nur 130 €)

Hmm, ich hab das auch und wollt grad schreiben "Joa, läuft auch bei mir auf 200 MHz stabil ohne Erhöhung der Chipsatzspannung" ABER gerade als ich das getippt hatte hat es auf einmal so komisch 'hrmpf' gemacht und ich hab auf einen schwarzen DOS-Bildschirm geblickt... naja...
Mit etwas erhöter Chipsatzspannung läuft es bei mir also getestet stabil auf 200 MHz, auf Standartspannung leider nicht ganz

Ansonsten hab ich keine Probleme mit dem Board, es fühlt sich schon fast so heimelig an wie mein altes 8kha+

Ich kann mich der allgemeinen Begeisterung über das Board nur anschließen. Ich habe es nun schon einige Wochen und bis jetzt noch keinen Grund zur Klage gefunden. Es läuft absolut stabil und problemlos und das mit diesen Einstellungen.

Hab seit 2 Wochen REV 1.2,

und selbst mein alter 1400er C Athlon, läuft auf diesem Board mit 200Mhz stabil, muß allerdings die Corespannung auf 1,9Volt anheben Chipsatz und Speicher bleiben normal.

hab jetzt n NF7-S.. ganze 3Tage nach dem Kauf, wollte ich das BIOS 16 drauftun. habs dann halt (fehlerlos) geflahst. Danach hats gesagt alles i.o. und "press F1 to restart". Gesagt getan. Jetzt hats nur noch n schwarzen Bildschirm.
Das Problem ist schon bei einigen vorgefallen, siehe ABIT Forum USA.

Nunja, ich wär mir eigentlich anderes gewohnt. Selbst mein olles Asus K7M hat nie zicken gemacht

wenns denn mal läuft, sicher ein Top Board. Und da der ABIT Support ja seeeeehr kulant ist, hoffe ich auf ein neues Board oder Baustein.

ich hatte lange zeit das kt7-raid von abit, un als treuer kunde hab ich mir auch das neue nf7 gekauft (non-deluxe). allerdings gabs gleich beim ersten einschalten die böse überraschung: ES LIEF NIX!! kein booten, kein bild...
naja, wie sich nachher herausstellte war es eine der alten revisionen, angeblich sollen da doch fehlerhafte kondensatoren verbaut worden seien...
mit der neuen revision 1.2 geht alles einwandfrei, auch 200mhz fsb.
von der leistung is es wie alle nforce2 boards spitze, was stabilität angeht: ich hatte noch keine mainboardbedingten abstürze.
was mir gut gefällt ist, dass das bios wirklich ALLES an einstellmöglichkeiten bietet... außer clearcmos keine jumper mehr, das is doch ma komfort!!!

ich würde es auf jeden fall weiterempfehlen, erst recht vom preis her is es voll in ordnung.
