Winamp 5.3

Die Entwickler von Nullsoft haben eine neue Version des Media-Players Winamp zum Download bereitgestellt. Die umfangreichen Release Notes der Version 5.3 finden sich u.a. im Kommentar-Thread dieser Meldung oder direkt bei Nullsoft.

wo liegt der unterschied zw. der winamp53_full.exe das ich beim planeten laden kann und der winamp53_full_emusic-7plus.exe vom Nullsoftserver? Die emusic ist ein paar KB größer, habt ihr da was modifiziert?

Du hast nicht ernsthaft Version 5.3 wieder deinstalliert, weil nach der Installation ein Neustart notwendig ist!?

Winamp 5.3 läuft übrigens auch ohne Neustart.

Ja doch!

Irgendwie wird in den Player immer mehr Schnickschnack hineingepackt, den ich nicht brauche. Bei der Installation hab ich nur das Nötigste angehakt. Winamp hat noch nie nach einem Neustart verlangt, was für mich heisst, dass plötzlich was installiert wird, das ich nicht haben will.

Kannst mich ruhig für paranoid halten, aber so lange 5.08 gut läuft und mir das neue Zeug komisch vorkommt lass ich' s drauf.

wie du beim download festgestellt haben wirst, sind die files von uns nur zu nullsoft verlinkt. wir hosten die files nicht selber und haben da auch nichts modifiziert.

der unterschied zwischen der normalen full-version und dem emusic-bundle ist, wie der name es schon andeutet, eine zusätzliche emusic-werbung beim emusic-bundle. früher war es nur ein emusic-icon auf dem desktop mit einem link zum emusic-dienst. ob das heute auch noch so ist, oder aber evtl. schon mehr, kann ich nicht sagen, da ich ausschließlich die werbefreie version nehme.

Bei der emusic ist halt besagtes Programm zum Musik downloaden mit dabei... (welches mir nie nich auf den Rechner kommt).
