Biostar hat bei mir wegen dem M7NCG400, das m.E. das brauchbarste Nforce2 MicroATX-Board war, immer noch einen Stein im Brett. Seit aber MSI und Asus vollausgestattete MicroATX Boards (A8N-VM CSM, bzw M2NPV-VM, etc.) bauen, bleiben wenig Argumente für Biostar.

Mit irgendwelchen sinnlosen Sachen muss man die OC-Kiddies ja ködern, und auf sowas werden sicherlich einige abfahren, obwohls eigentlich nichts bringt.EIne 6-phasige Spannungsversorgung beim 590er??

In dem Text ist aber anscheinend ein Fehler. eine 6-phasen Regelung und nur 6 FETs? Die würd ich zumindest eine standart 3 bzw. 4 phasen Regelung vorziehen.

Und wenn ich mir den 8 poligen EPS Anschluss anschau, freu ich mich schon auf Fragen wie:
"Mein Netzteil hat aber nur einen 4 poligen Anschluss, gibts da einen Adapter, oder brauch ich ein neues Netzteil?"

Ich bin so ein OC-Kiddie, wenn auch leider nicht mehr vom Alter her
Aber ich kann dir versichern, daß es riesige Unterschiede bei der Spannungsversorgung gibt. Ob die Spannungsversorgung des 590er Boards wirklich gut (stabli) ist, lässt sich jetzt natürlich noch nicht sagen.

Wie stellst du denn fest, dass die Spannung stabil ist? Schau dir den Unterschied einer 2, 3, und 4 Phasen Regelung mal genau an. Da sieht man keinen Unterschied, solang der FIlter gleich ist. Und der ist hier auch der größte Vorteil, da der hier eben auch entsprechend großzügiger Dimensioniert ist. Dafür braucht man aber keine 6 phasen Regelnung.Aber ich kann dir versichern, daß es riesige Unterschiede bei der Spannungsversorgung gibt. Ob die Spannungsversorgung des 590er Boards wirklich gut (stabli) ist, lässt sich jetzt natürlich noch nicht sagen.
Das hier hat zwar sicherlich Vorteile, aber um diese auszunutzen, muss man die Spannung (und dadurch den Stromverbrauch) schon extrom hoch setzten. Das macht evtl. bei Rekordjagd mit Trockeneis, flüssigen Stickstoff, ... Sinn.
Aber dass die Rechnung der Hersteller aufgeht, hast du mit deinem Post ja eigentlich bewießen

Du hast natürlich Recht, daß auch eine 3phasige Regelung sehr gut sein kann (z.B. DFI nF4 Ultra). Die 4phasige Regelung eines DFI nF4 Expert kann da nur noch die Temperatur der FETs senken - das ist aber auch schon bei garnicht so abgefahrenem Übertakten (Opteron170@1,5V, Wakü) interessant.
In erster Linie zeigen mir die 6Phasen, daß der Hersteller über die Spannungsversorgung nachgedacht hat und nicht seine (meist nicht so tolle) Standardlösung raufgelötet hat.
Und ja, ich bin bereit Geld für Hardware auszugeben, die sich gut übertakten lässt
die neue AM2 Serie von Biostar werde ich natürlich beim Kauf neuer Hardware in betracht ziehen. Zum einen kann ich nur gutes über mein jetziges TForce4 SLI berichten, zum anderen wird der Preis höchstwahrscheinlich ähnlich der jetzigen TForce Reihe sehr schmackhaft sein. Ich jedenfalls bin mit meinem Biostar genauso zufrieden wie mit meinem DFI-Ultra, nur dass es trotz SLI um einiges billiger zu erstehen war.
