Bereits seit Sep\u00adtem\u00adber befin\u00addet sich Kodu\u00adri in einer selbst ver\u00adord\u00adne\u00adten Aus\u00adzeit, nach eige\u00adnen Anga\u00adben, um nach der stres\u00adsi\u00adgen Vega-Ent\u00adwick\u00adlung wie\u00adder mehr Zeit mit sei\u00adner Fami\u00adlie ver\u00adbrin\u00adgen zu k\u00f6n\u00adnen. Heu\u00adte nun wur\u00adde Hexus<\/a> ein inter\u00adnes Memo zuge\u00adspielt, in dem sich Kodu\u00adri bei sei\u00adnem Team verabschiedet:<\/p>\n

To my AMD<\/span> family,<\/p>\n

For\u00adty is a signi\u00adfi\u00adcant num\u00adber in histo\u00adry. It is a num\u00adber repre\u00adsen\u00adting tran\u00adsi\u00adti\u00adon, test\u00ading and chan\u00adge. I have just spent for\u00adty days away from the office going through such a tran\u00adsi\u00adti\u00adon. It was an important time with my fami\u00adly, and it also offe\u00adred me a rare space for reflec\u00adtion. During this time I have come to the extre\u00adme\u00adly dif\u00adfi\u00adcult con\u00adclu\u00adsi\u00adon that it is time for me to lea\u00adve RTG<\/span> and AMD<\/span>.<\/p>\n

I have no ques\u00adti\u00adon in my mind that RTG<\/span>, and AMD<\/span>, are mar\u00adching firm\u00adly in the right direc\u00adtion as high-per\u00adfor\u00admance com\u00adpu\u00adting beco\u00admes ever-more-important in every aspect of our lives. I belie\u00adve who\u00adle\u00adhe\u00adar\u00adted\u00adly in what we are doing with Vega, Navi and bey\u00adond, and I am incre\u00addi\u00adbly proud of how far we have come and whe\u00adre we are going. The who\u00adle indus\u00adtry has stood up and taken noti\u00adce of what we are doing. As I think about how com\u00adpu\u00adting will evol\u00adve, I feel more and more that I want to pur\u00adsue my pas\u00adsi\u00adon bey\u00adond hard\u00adware and explo\u00adre dri\u00adving broa\u00adder solutions.<\/p>\n

I want to thank Lisa and the AET<\/span> for enab\u00adling me to pur\u00adsue my pas\u00adsi\u00adon during the last four years at AMD<\/span>, and espe\u00adci\u00adal\u00adly the last two years with RTG<\/span>. Lisa has my utmost respect for exhi\u00adbi\u00adting the cou\u00adra\u00adge to enable me with RTG<\/span>, for belie\u00adving in me and for going out of her way to sup\u00adport me. I would also like to call out Mark Paper\u00admas\u00adter who brought me into AMD<\/span>, for his huge pas\u00adsi\u00adon for tech\u00adno\u00adlo\u00adgy and for his relent\u00adless sup\u00adport through many dif\u00adfi\u00adcult pha\u00adses. And of cour\u00adse, I want to thank each and every one of my direct staff and my indi\u00adrect staff who have work\u00aded so hard with me to build what we have now got. I am very proud of the strong lea\u00adders we have and I\u2019m ful\u00adly con\u00adfi\u00addent that they can exe\u00adcu\u00adte on the com\u00adpel\u00adling road\u00admap ahead. <\/p>\n

I will con\u00adti\u00adnue to be an ardent fan and user of AMD<\/span> tech\u00adno\u00adlo\u00adgies for both per\u00adso\u00adnal and pro\u00adfes\u00adsio\u00adnal use.<\/p>\n

As I men\u00adtio\u00adned, lea\u00adving AMD<\/span> and RTG<\/span> has been an extre\u00adme\u00adly dif\u00adfi\u00adcult decis\u00adi\u00adon for me. But I felt it is the right one for me per\u00adso\u00adnal\u00adly at this point. Time will tell. I will be fol\u00adlo\u00adwing with gre\u00adat inte\u00adrest the pro\u00adgress you will make over the next seve\u00adral years.<\/p>\n

On a final note, I have asked a lot of you in the last two years. You\u2019\u00adve always deli\u00adver\u00aded.
