Atos, a glo\u00adbal lea\u00adder in digi\u00adtal trans\u00adfor\u00adma\u00adti\u00adon, has signed a 37 mil\u00adli\u00adon euro 3\u2011year con\u00adtract to deli\u00adver its latest super\u00adcom\u00adpu\u00adter, the Bull\u00adSe\u00adqua\u00adna XH2000<\/span>, to <\/strong>CSC<\/span> \u2014 IT<\/span> Cen\u00adter for Sci\u00adence in Fin\u00adland. The con\u00adtract, which was signed on 12 Decem\u00adber bet\u00adween the two par\u00adties in Espoo, will pro\u00advi\u00adde Fin\u00adnish rese\u00adar\u00adchers with an enhan\u00adced com\u00adpu\u00adting capa\u00adci\u00adty to enable new inno\u00adva\u00adti\u00adon breakthroughs.<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/a>The Bull\u00adSe\u00adqua\u00adna XH2000<\/span><\/a> super\u00adcom\u00adpu\u00adter will give Fin\u00adnish rese\u00adar\u00adchers five times more capa\u00adci\u00adty than pre\u00advious\u00adly, with a theo\u00adre\u00adti\u00adcal peak per\u00adfor\u00admance of 6,4 peta\u00adflops. The super\u00adcom\u00adpu\u00adting envi\u00adron\u00adment, which will con\u00adsist of the Bull\u00adSe\u00adqua\u00adna, a sca\u00adlar clus\u00adter of 2 peta\u00adflops, an AI-par\u00adti\u00adti\u00adon of 2,5 peta\u00adflops and a lar\u00adge data manage\u00adment sys\u00adtem, will have a com\u00adbi\u00adned theo\u00adre\u00adti\u00adcal peak per\u00adfor\u00admance of 11 peta\u00adflops. Tog\u00ade\u00adther this will enable rese\u00adar\u00adchers to pre\u00addict cli\u00adma\u00adte chan\u00adge and its effects, pro\u00adblems around rene\u00adwa\u00adble and fusi\u00adon ener\u00adgy, uti\u00adli\u00adze AI<\/span> to deve\u00adlop new tre\u00adat\u00adments, and sol\u00adve other very com\u00adpu\u00adting inten\u00adsi\u00adve pro\u00adblems.
