Bis\u00adlang hat\u00adte AMD<\/span> immer bei \u201cRome\u201d und auch bei Ryzen-Desk\u00adtop\u00adpro\u00adzes\u00adso\u00adren der drit\u00adten Gene\u00adra\u00adti\u00adon (\u201cMatis\u00adse\u201d) von einem Start gegen Mit\u00adte des Jah\u00adres gespro\u00adchen. Tur\u00adning to our next-gene\u00adra\u00adti\u00adon Rome pro\u00adces\u00adsor, we made excel\u00adlent pro\u00adgress in the quar\u00adter, achie\u00adving key pro\u00adduc\u00adtion mile\u00adsto\u00adnes with our lar\u00adgest OEM<\/span> and cloud cus\u00adto\u00admers. We\u2019\u00adre very exci\u00adted about the per\u00adfor\u00admance of Rome, which is on track to deli\u00adver four times the floa\u00adting point per\u00adfor\u00admance and dou\u00adble the com\u00adpu\u00adte per\u00adfor\u00admance per socket com\u00adpared to our cur\u00adrent gene\u00adra\u00adti\u00adon EPYC<\/span> pro\u00adces\u00adsors. We are on track to begin Rome pro\u00adduc\u00adtion ship\u00adments in the second quar\u00adter to sup\u00adport a third quar\u00adter launch.<\/p>\n

I think start\u00ading with ser\u00adver, again, it\u2019s the grea\u00adtest per\u00adcen\u00adta\u00adge of growth. And it real\u00adly is the start of some ship\u00adments of Rome. We expect that Rome will launch here in the third quar\u00adter, and the\u00adre are some pre\u00adpa\u00adra\u00adti\u00adons that need to be done for that.<\/p>\n

So we would expect that the\u00adre will be a good amount of time whe\u00adre we will have both Nap\u00adles and Rome in mar\u00adket at the same point in time, and that just depends on qua\u00adli\u00adfi\u00adca\u00adti\u00adon cycles, plat\u00adform needs and some plat\u00adforms are being refres\u00adhed right away, some plat\u00adforms are going to take a litt\u00adle bit lon\u00adger to be refres\u00adhed. And so, from my stand\u00adpoint, I think that Nap\u00adles will con\u00adti\u00adnue to be important for us in 2019, even as we ramp Rome with our launch in the second half of the year.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Sell-through acce\u00adle\u00adra\u00adted sequen\u00adti\u00adal\u00adly dri\u00adven by sales of both our main\u00adstream Rade\u00adon RX<\/span> GPUs and new high-end Rade\u00adon VII<\/span> gam\u00ading GPUs. We are well-posi\u00adtio\u00adned to grow GPU<\/span> reve\u00adnue in the second quar\u00adter and through the second half of the year, as we expect to intro\u00addu\u00adce our first 7\u2011nanometer Navi gam\u00ading GPUs in the third quarter.<\/p>\n

Navi is a new archi\u00adtec\u00adtu\u00adre for us in gam\u00ading. It has a lot of new fea\u00adtures, across the Navi archi\u00adtec\u00adtu\u00adre. Things are pro\u00adgres\u00adsing well. We expect it to launch in the third quarter.From a posi\u00adtio\u00adning stand\u00adpoint, I pro\u00adba\u00adb\u00adly won\u2019t go through it in gre\u00adat detail right now other than to say that it is 7\u2011nanometer, Navi, but it will be posi\u00adtio\u00adned below whe\u00adre, for exam\u00adp\u00adle, our Rade\u00adon VII<\/span>\u2019s is posi\u00adti\u00adon today from a pri\u00adce point standpoint.<\/p>\n
