The new <span class=\"caps\">DLR<\/span> clus\u00adter will be hos\u00adted and admi\u00adnis\u00adtra\u00adted by the Cen\u00adter for Infor\u00adma\u00adti\u00adon Ser\u00advices and High Per\u00adfor\u00admance Com\u00adpu\u00adting (<span class=\"caps\">ZIH<\/span>) at the new Dat\u00ada\u00adcen\u00adter of the Tech\u00adni\u00adsche Uni\u00adver\u00adsi\u00adt\u00e4t Dres\u00adden (<span class=\"caps\">TU<\/span> Dres\u00adden), accor\u00adding to the stra\u00adte\u00adgic sci\u00aden\u00adti\u00adfic co-ope\u00adra\u00adti\u00adon bet\u00adween <span class=\"caps\">NEC<\/span> and&nbsp;<span class=\"caps\">DLR<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>The very chal\u00adlen\u00adging frame con\u00addi\u00adti\u00adons for power and ener\u00adgy effi\u00adci\u00aden\u00adcy of <span class=\"caps\">DLR<\/span> and <span class=\"caps\">ZIH<\/span> requi\u00adres most of the total solu\u00adti\u00adon to be direct-liquid coo\u00adled (<span class=\"caps\">DLC<\/span>), at a warm water inlet tem\u00adpe\u00adra\u00adtu\u00adre of 35\u00b0C. <span class=\"caps\">NEC<\/span> employs a uni\u00adque coo\u00adling solu\u00adti\u00adon with CPUs coo\u00adled direct\u00adly and all other com\u00adpon\u00adents employ\u00ading secon\u00adda\u00adry water coo\u00adling in clo\u00adsed racks.
