It is the first ope\u00adra\u00adtio\u00adnal super\u00adcom\u00adpu\u00adter world\u00adwi\u00adde to include the AMD<\/span> next-gene\u00adra\u00adti\u00adon EPYC<\/span>\u2122 7H12<\/span> Series Processors.<\/p>\n

Today this exten\u00adsi\u00adon of the Joli\u00adot-Curie super\u00adcom\u00adpu\u00adter enters into the TOP100<\/span> glo\u00adbal ran\u00adking in 59th posi\u00adti\u00adon, with a sus\u00adtained revi\u00adsed per\u00adfor\u00admance, thus far, of more than 5 PFlops, making it the first AMD<\/span> EPYC<\/span>\u2122 64-core 280W<\/span> equip\u00adped super\u00adcom\u00adpu\u00adter in the glo\u00adbal ran\u00adking. The Bull\u00adSe\u00adqua\u00adna XH2000<\/span>\u2019s DLC<\/span> (Direct Liquid Coo\u00adling) sys\u00adtem and its ener\u00adgy-effi\u00adci\u00adent archi\u00adtec\u00adtu\u00adre were essen\u00adti\u00adal in ensu\u00adring that the super\u00adcom\u00adpu\u00adter could reach a maxi\u00admum level of per\u00adfor\u00admance<\/a> to gua\u00adran\u00adtee a com\u00admit\u00adted Total Cost of Owner\u00adship (TCO<\/span>) on rele\u00advant appli\u00adca\u00adti\u00adons. This exten\u00adsi\u00adon is part of the Euro\u00adpean pro\u00adject PPI4HPC<\/span>, which aims to acqui\u00adre inno\u00adva\u00adti\u00adve com\u00adpu\u00adting and sto\u00adrage solu\u00adti\u00adons, through a joint pro\u00adcu\u00adre\u00adment coor\u00addi\u00adna\u00adted by GENCI<\/span>, for lea\u00adding HPC<\/span> cen\u00adtres CEA<\/span>\/GENCI<\/span>, CINECA<\/span> (Ita\u00adly), JUELICH<\/span> (Ger\u00adma\u00adny) and BSC<\/span> (Spain).<\/p>\n
