(or \u2018the Com\u00adpa\u00adny,\u2019 www.skhynix.com<\/a>) announ\u00adced that it has star\u00adted the full-sca\u00adle mass-pro\u00adduc\u00adtion of high-speed DRAM<\/span>, \u2018HBM2E<\/span>\u2019, only ten months after the Com\u00adpa\u00adny announ\u00adced the deve\u00adlo\u00adp\u00adment of the new pro\u00adduct in August last year.<\/p>\n

SK<\/span> hynix\u2019s HBM2E<\/span> sup\u00adports over 460GB<\/span> (Giga\u00adbyte) per second with 1,024 I\/Os (Inputs\/Outputs) based on the 3.6Gbps (giga\u00adbits-per-second) speed per\u00adfor\u00admance per pin. It is the fas\u00adtest DRAM<\/span> solu\u00adti\u00adon in the indus\u00adtry, being able to trans\u00admit 124 FHD<\/span> (full-HD) movies (3.7GB<\/span> each) per second. The den\u00adsi\u00adty is 16GB<\/span> by ver\u00adti\u00adcal\u00adly stack\u00ading eight 16Gb chips through TSV<\/span> (Through Sili\u00adcon Via) tech\u00adno\u00adlo\u00adgy, and it is more than dou\u00adbled from the pre\u00advious gene\u00adra\u00adti\u00adon (HBM2<\/span>).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

HBM2E<\/span> boasts high-speed, high-capa\u00adci\u00adty, and low-power cha\u00adrac\u00adte\u00adristics; it is an opti\u00admal memo\u00adry solu\u00adti\u00adon for the next-gene\u00adra\u00adti\u00adon AI<\/span> (Arti\u00adfi\u00adci\u00adal Intel\u00adli\u00adgence) sys\u00adtems inclu\u00adding Deep Lear\u00adning Acce\u00adle\u00adra\u00adtor and High-Per\u00adfor\u00admance Com\u00adpu\u00adting, which all requi\u00adre high-level com\u00adpu\u00adting per\u00adfor\u00admance.
