Noy\u00adce Award<\/a>. SIA<\/span> pres\u00adents the Noy\u00adce Award annu\u00adal\u00adly in reco\u00adgni\u00adti\u00adon of a lea\u00adder who has made out\u00adstan\u00adding con\u00adtri\u00adbu\u00adti\u00adons to the semi\u00adcon\u00adduc\u00adtor indus\u00adtry in tech\u00adno\u00adlo\u00adgy or public poli\u00adcy. Dr. Su will accept the award at the SIA<\/span> Lea\u00adder\u00adship Forum and Award Cele\u00adbra\u00adti\u00adon<\/a>, a vir\u00adtu\u00adal event that will take place on Thurs\u00adday, Nov. 19, 2019.<\/p>\n

Dr. Su has ser\u00adved as pre\u00adsi\u00addent and CEO<\/span> of AMD<\/span> sin\u00adce Octo\u00adber 2014 and also ser\u00adves on the AMD<\/span> board of direc\u00adtors. During her ten\u00adure, AMD<\/span> has beco\u00adme a lea\u00adder in high-per\u00adfor\u00admance com\u00adpu\u00adting and gra\u00adphics tech\u00adno\u00adlo\u00adgies for the PC<\/span>, data cen\u00adter, and gam\u00ading mar\u00adkets. Pre\u00advious\u00adly, she was chief ope\u00adra\u00adting offi\u00adcer respon\u00adsi\u00adble for all aspects of pro\u00adduct stra\u00adtegy and exe\u00adcu\u00adti\u00adon. Dr. Su has bachelor\u2019s, master\u2019s and doc\u00adto\u00adra\u00adte degrees in elec\u00adtri\u00adcal engi\u00adnee\u00adring from the Mas\u00adsa\u00adchu\u00adsetts Insti\u00adtu\u00adte of Tech\u00adno\u00adlo\u00adgy (MIT<\/span>). She has published more than 40 tech\u00adni\u00adcal artic\u00adles and was named a Fel\u00adlow of the Insti\u00adtu\u00adte of Elec\u00adtro\u00adnics and Elec\u00adtri\u00adcal Engi\u00adneers in 2009. In 2018, Dr. Su was elec\u00adted to the Natio\u00adnal Aca\u00adde\u00admy of Engi\u00adnee\u00adring, was named \u201cBusi\u00adness\u00adper\u00adson of the Year\u201d by For\u00adtu\u00adne Maga\u00adzi\u00adne, and recei\u00adved the pres\u00adti\u00adgious Dr. Mor\u00adris Chang Exem\u00adpla\u00adry Lea\u00adder\u00adship Award. In 2019, Dr. Su was named one of the World\u2019s 50 Best CEOs by Barron\u2019s, one of the \u201cMost Powerful Women in Busi\u00adness\u201d by For\u00adtu\u00adne Maga\u00adzi\u00adne, one of \u201cThe Best-Per\u00adforming CEOs in the World\u201d by Har\u00advard Busi\u00adness Review, and she was included in \u201cThe Bloom\u00adberg 50\u201d list of peo\u00adp\u00adle who defi\u00adned the year.<\/p>\n
