The U.S. PC<\/span> mar\u00adket had ano\u00adther strong quar\u00adter, regis\u00adtering 20.6% growth year over year. Despi\u00adte eco\u00adno\u00admic and poli\u00adti\u00adcal dis\u00adrup\u00adti\u00adons in the regi\u00adon throug\u00adhout the fourth quar\u00adter of 2020, the con\u00adsu\u00admer PC<\/span> mar\u00adket con\u00adtin\u00adued to per\u00adform well, led by sur\u00adging mobi\u00adle PC<\/span> demand. For the full year, the U.S. PC<\/span> mar\u00adket expe\u00adri\u00aden\u00adced its hig\u00adhest growth in 20 years.<\/p>\n

\u201c<\/span>Though many sta\u00adtes did not re-issue stay-home orders until Decem\u00adber, U.S. con\u00adsu\u00admers con\u00adtin\u00adued to lar\u00adge\u00adly avo\u00adid tra\u00advel, while many U.S. schools were eit\u00adher clo\u00adsed or ran hybrid online class\u00adrooms,\u201d said Ms. Kitag\u00adawa. \u201cThe\u00adr\u00ade\u00adfo\u00adre, con\u00adsu\u00admer spen\u00adding shifted to items that could enhan\u00adce life at home, inclu\u00adding PCs.\u201d<\/p>\n
