The new con\u00adtri\u00adbu\u00adti\u00adon brings the total amount of com\u00adpu\u00adting capa\u00adci\u00adty dona\u00adted by AMD<\/span> to over 20 peta\u00adflops with a mar\u00adket value of more than $31 mil\u00adli\u00adon, as of May 2022. The addi\u00adtio\u00adnal com\u00adpu\u00adting resour\u00adces will build on the AMD<\/span> COVID-19<\/span> HPC<\/span> Fund that was estab\u00adlished in 2020 to pro\u00advi\u00adde rese\u00adarch insti\u00adtu\u00adti\u00adons with com\u00adpu\u00adting resour\u00adces to acce\u00adle\u00adra\u00adte medi\u00adcal rese\u00adarch on COVID-19<\/span> and other diseases.<\/p>\n

Near\u00adly 6,000 rese\u00adar\u00adchers have recei\u00adved access to AMD<\/span> tech\u00adno\u00adlo\u00adgies for their pro\u00adjects, resul\u00adting in 55 papers published so far on key issues like dis\u00adpa\u00adri\u00adties in COVID-19<\/span> vac\u00adci\u00adna\u00adti\u00adon rates by race and eth\u00adni\u00adci\u00adty and impro\u00adve\u00adments in the clas\u00adsi\u00adfi\u00adca\u00adti\u00adon of breast can\u00adcer imagery through deep visi\u00adon techniques.<\/p>\n
