SUNNYVALE<\/span>, CA<\/span> \u2014 04\/01\/14 \u2013<\/strong> AMD<\/span><\/a> (NYSE<\/span>: AMD<\/span>) today announ\u00adced that it amen\u00added its Wafer Sup\u00adp\u00adly Agree\u00adment (WSA<\/span>) with GLOBALFOUNDRIES<\/span> Inc. for 2014. Under the terms of the amend\u00adment, AMD<\/span> and GLOBALFOUNDRIES<\/span> agreed on purcha\u00adse com\u00admit\u00adments for 2014 and estab\u00adlished fixed pri\u00adcing and other terms of the WSA<\/span> which app\u00adly to pro\u00adducts AMD<\/span> will purcha\u00adse from GLOBALFOUNDRIES<\/span>. Under this amend\u00adment AMD<\/span> expects to pay GLOBALFOUNDRIES<\/span> appro\u00adxi\u00adm\u00adate\u00adly $1.2 bil\u00adli\u00adon in 2014. The\u00adse purcha\u00adses con\u00adtem\u00adp\u00adla\u00adte AMD<\/span>\u2019s cur\u00adrent PC<\/span> mar\u00adket expec\u00adta\u00adti\u00adons and the manu\u00adfac\u00adtu\u00adring of cer\u00adtain Gra\u00adphics Pro\u00adces\u00adsor Units (GPUs) and semi-cus\u00adtom game con\u00adso\u00adle pro\u00adducts at GLOBALFOUNDRIES<\/span> in 2014.
