Also ich habe seit dem 24. dieses Board. Läuft mit Win 2000 und Gentoo Linux (Linux macht n paar Probleme das liegt aber wohl eher an mir ...)
Also unter Win 2000 rennt es gut - aber - ich schaffe es nicht den GigaRaid anzusprechen ... wenn ich da Festplatten im ATA (nicht im Raid Mode!) anhänge werden diese beim Booten vom Raid Bios nicht erkannt! Es scheint sogar so das nicht mal das Bios des Boards den Giga Raid Chip kennt, denn in den POST Meldungen kurz vor dem Booten des Betriebssystems wird es als "Unknown Device" geführt. Hat jemand ne Idee?
Außerdem wird mein BJC 3000 Drucker wenn ich den über USB ansteuern will partout nicht erkannt, gilt sowohl für Linux als auch für Win2000, am Paralellport geht er ... beim alten Board ging er auch über USB ...
Kann es sein das man nicht Kunde sondern eher bezahlender Beta Tester für eine neue Platform ist wenn man Athlon 64 Boards kauft?
Ich warte ab was Gigabyte so vermeldet - hoffentlich fixen die alles bevor dieser Chipsatz nächstes Jahr wieder in der Versenkung verschwindet ...
