Besitze das Gigabyte K8N Pro in Rev. 1.0 jetzt seit 3 Monaten, und ich bin echt zufrieden damit.
Ich benutze es mit einem A64 3000+, 2*256 MB Kingston 4000 und dem Zalman 7000 Luftkühler.
Es läuft alles sehr stabil. Keine ungewollten Abstürze oder ähnliches.
Die Bioseinstellungen sind in Ordnung. Man kann den HT auf 250 stellen, die VCore auf 1,7V hochdrehen. Der AGP-Takt ist festgelegt, nur der PCI wird beim übertakten mitverstellt. Ich konnte mit diesen Optionen meinen Prozessor auf 2250 Mhz übertakten. Ob mehr gehen würde, entscheidet bald meine Wasserkühlung.
Ram-Timings sind ebenfalls sehr gut einstellbar, wenn man die Hidden Advanced Options benutzt ( Im Bios Strg-F1 drücken).
Sehr gut ist das Dual-Bios, was bei größeren Spielereien am Bios schon öfters mein Board am Leben gelassen hat. Leider gibt es nur sehr selten Biosupdates, so dass nicht wirklich viel Spielraum beim Testen bleibt.
Die Ausstattung ist sehr gut, es fehlt wirklich nichts. Nur ärgerlich ist der aktive Northbridgekühler, der ein etwas hohes summendes Geräusch von sich gibt.
Das Board ist von allen Optionen her erste Sahne. Auch wenn ich nicht weiß, ob ich das Board mir noch einmal kaufen würde, und nicht zu Asus oder MSI greifen würde, habe ich den Kauf nie bereut !!
