also meine WD800BB (80gb) Platte wird irgednwie immer langsamer - die Tools von WD und Sandra konnten nichtmal nen benchmark oder test zu ende bringen und HD tach 3 zeigte starte schwankungen beim sequ. lesen (extreme zick-zack-linie, 0mb/s => 50mb/s => 0mb/s....).

Kann das noch an was anderem außer der Platte liegen und wie schnell läuft der Austausch bei WD? In welches Land muss man das schicken?

hat das western digital diagnose-tool irgendeinen fehlercode ausgespuckt ?

hast du mal die smart-werte geprüft ? z.b.mit drive sitter oder einem ähnlichen tool ?

das wd-tool WinDlg gibt beim Quicktest an : estimated time: 2min... nach 15min hab ichs dann abgebrochen.... platte rattert 5min und dann tut sich nix mehr.
Im anderen Progi von WD gibbet ja keine Tests...
