PC-Hardware hat sich im Rahmen eines Reviews mit der aktuellen KT266A Platine von Abit, dem KR7A-RAID, beschäftigt. Das Board bietet ja neben umfangreichen Features und Tuning-Optionen auch zusätzlich einen High Point HPT372 IDE Controller welcher ATA133 Unterstützung (z.B. für die aktuellen Maxtor HDs) bietet.

But I can say for sure that Abit KR7A is the fastest motherboard ever tested at PC Hardware. ich hab mir vor dem release das handbuch mal runtergladen, da stand drin, dass hardware monitoring dabei ist (wie es ja mittlerweile normal ist).
oder übersetz ich da nur falsch?

Also ich habe das bor nun etwa 3 Wochen, ich bin auch der meinung das ein hardwaremonitoring chip (Realtek Chip ) drauf ist genauso wie ich Auf der Abit CD einen Realtek Hardwaresensors-Monitoring SW gesichtet habe ( finde ich um einiges besser als z.b. die Via HW Sensor Software )
ach ja davor habe ich für etwa 3 Wochen das MSI K7T Pro2 RU board benutz.
weils mir langweilig war habe ich vor dem umbau einige Benchmarks durchgeführt.
Muss schon sagen, obwohl bis auf das Mainboard nichts verändert wurde Messtechnisch eine meisterleistung.
z.B. 3D Mark 2001 MSi 6731 3DMarks Abit 8079 3DMarks
Auch bei Dronez Mark und VulpineGL Mark hatt sich einiges getan.
Aber so richtig überzeugt hatt mich die DVD Umwandlung mit DaVideo VCD
mit dem alten board habe ich im schnitt 12,4 FPS in der Sekunde gehabt und mit dem Abit sind es 12,9 FPS ( natürlich die gleichen szenen )
ach ja davor habe ich für etwa 3 Wochen das MSI K7T Pro2 RU board benutz.
