AMD Athlon 2000+ Review

GamePC.com hatte die Möglichkeit bereits vorab einen Blick auf die Leistungfähigkeit den neuen AMD Athlon XP 2000+ zu werfen, der offiziell erst am 7. Januar vorgestellt werden soll. Große Überraschungen waren jedoch nicht zu erwarten, da der 2000+ den gleichen Palomino-Core verwendet, wie der 1900+ und all seine langsamer getakteten Kollegen. Dennoch zieht GamePC ein deutliches Fazit:<ul><i>If there was any doubt in your mind about which company makes the fastest CPU in the business, there shouldn't be anymore. AMD is now rounding out the 2001 year with an absolutely amazing CPU, which rips apart the Pentium 4 in nearly every benchmark we threw at it.
