2006 Top 15 Worldwide Semiconductor Supplier

IC Insights hat seine Voraussage für die 15 größten (gemessen am Umsatz) Halbleiterhersteller 2006 veröffentlicht.

AMD konnte in dieser Liste auf den 13. Platz vorrücken (Vorjahr: 16. Platz) und dürfte mit weiter steigenden Prozessorzahlen und der Übernahme von ATI im nächsten Jahr unter die zehn umsatzstärksten Halbleiterhersteller vorrücken.

Zu den Firmen, die im Jahr 2006 ebenfalls einen sehr hohen Umsatzzuwachs verbuchen können, zählen Qimonda (Spinnoff der Speichersparte von Infineon), Hynix und Texas Instruments.

Den größten Einbruch beim Umsatz muss nach diesen geschätzen Zahlen (die Ergebnisses für das letzte Quartal liegen ja noch nicht vor) mit - 11 Prozent Intel hinnehmen. Dies ändert allerdings nichts daran, dass die Firma aus Santa Clara mit sehr grossem Vorsprung weiterhin das Ranking der Halbleiterhersteller anführt.

Warum ist big blue net in der liste?

also eigentlich gehen mir in dieser liste etliche halbleiter hersteller ab, umci, smic und weitere andere hersteller (kunden von meiner firma) gehen mir hier ab. und die sind mit dem umsatz her höher als infineon einzustufen.

Hätte nicht gedacht, dass Texas Instruments noch überhaupt oben mitmischt, geschweige denn, #3 der Welt ist

also ich hab mir jetzt nur mal kurz die zahlen von smic angeschaut. und die haben im geschäftsjahr 2005 einen umsatz von rund 1,1 milliarden dollar erzielt, also nix mit den top15

Interessant ist dass Infineon und Qimonda zusammen Nummer 4 wären. Nicht schlecht für den deutschen HL Standort.
