HP mit neuem AMD Business-Desktop

Mit dem HP Compaq dx2250 hat einen Desktop-PC für den Businessbereich mit AMD-Prozessoren vorgestellt. Im HP Compaq dx2250 kommen der AMD Athlon 64 X2, Athlon 64 and Sempron zum Einsatz.

Ab einem Preis von 359 US-Dollar erhältlich,wird in der gesamten Linie auch ein Mainboard mit einem AMD ATI Radeon XPRESS 1150 Chipsatz verbaut.

Wer bestellt eigentlich noch Rechner mit 256 MB Speicher ?
Bei uns ist ein Upgrade der Business-Rechner auf 2 GB geplant (Vista-Tauglichkeit).
Gibt es überhaupt noch DDR2-Module mit 256 MB ?
Im Retail-Verkauf, etwa bei Alternate, wird kein einziges 256 MB Modul mit 667 MHz angeboten. Selbst bei den lahmen 533ern ist nichts mehr zu finden.

Mit der Sparausstattung ist der Preis kein Wunder.
Absolut Klasse sind aber die Upgrade-Preise. Nochmal 256 MB kosten 61,- US $, eine 160 GB S-ATA2-Platte 199,- US $, ein DVD-Brenner 129,- US $.

Nicht zu vergessen, der zusätzliche Support. Wer kauft im Business-Bereich ohne mindestens 3jährigen Vorort-Support. Der kostet auch noch mal 99,- US $.

Ob es das dann auch in Deutschland geben wird, ist hier die große Frage, denn bei hp.com gibt es deutliche mehr und auch sehr interessante HP-Notebooks mit AMD Prozessor. Auch kann man sein Gerät, analog zu Dell, online konfigurieren.
