Laut einer Pressemitteilung des HyperTransport-Konsortiums wird Dell neuestes Mitglied dieser Organisation.

HyperTransport (HT) ist eine bidirektionale Hochgeschwindigkeitsverbindung zwischen mehreren integrierten Schaltkreisen und ein offener Industriestandard, bei dem keine Lizenzgebühren anfallen.
Gründungsmitglieder des HyperTransport-Konsortiums sind unter anderem AMD, IBM, Apple, NVIDIA, Broadcom, Sun und Cisco Systems.
