Wie schlägt sich das Programm so? Beispielsweise im Vergleich zum DeepBurner? Ist eine wirkliche alternative zu Nero?

Meiner Erfahrung nach ist es durchaus eine Alternative zu Nero, vorallem wenn man von XP auf Vista umsteigt und er gute alte Nero 6 nicht mehr funktionieren will

Manchmal stürzt bei mir das Programm allerdings ab, sodass ich nichts mehr brennen kann und rebooten muß.
Was ich allerdings verschmerzen kann bei einem kostenfreien Produkt.

Das Programm selber ist absolut benutzbar und besonders für Leute, die eher selten brennen sowieso geeignet.

Hab das Programm eine Weile benutzt, bin dann aber auf das ganz hervorragende Imgburn umgestiegen.

Ganz brauchbar unter den Freeware-Alternativen ist im übrigen auch Infrarecorder.

Infrarecorder ist auch mein Favorit, primär aufgrund der von tomturbo bereits erwähnten inhärenten Instabilität von CDBurnerXP.

wenn ich AudioCDs brenne, bleibt die CD nach einem Track stehen ohne auf den nächsten weiterzulaufen. Dann muss ich immer manuell auf weiter.
Oder ist das eine Einstellungssache die ich übersehen habe ?

Brennst du als Track at Once (TAO) oder als Disc at Once (DAO)? Vermutlich ersteres.
