SystemRescueCd, eine auf Gentoo basierende Linux Boot-CD, ist in der Version 1.1.0 erschienen. Mit der CD können zahlreiche Aufgaben rund um das Bearbeiten und Erstellen von Partitionen vorgenommen werden. Dabei werden zahlreiche Dateisysteme unterstützt.
Zu diesen gehören Ext2/Ext3, ReiserFS, Reiser4, XFS, JFS, VFAT, NTFS, ISO9660, Samba und NFS.

* Updated app-admin/testdisk to 6.10 (testdisk-6.10 and photorec-6.10)
* Updated squashfs with lzma support (kernel driver and tools) to fix a bug
* Updated the btrfs filesystem support to 0.16 (kernel module and utils)
* Updated the python interpreter to dev-lang/python-2.5.2-r5
* Updated lvm2 (Logical Volume Manager) to 2.02.39

Super Sache! Jedoch frage ich mich ob es auch mit dem Vista-NTFS zurecht kommt. Damit hatte ich nämlich unter Ubuntu 8.04.1 mit allen updates so meine Probleme... wobei das lesen hier ja nicht das Problem ist, sondern das schreiben!
Weiss jemand ob das mitlerweile schon "sicher" geht, oder ob die Entwickler davon abraten?
..wenns geht, dann hätte mein Pocket-XP endgültig abgelöst
