Realtek hat mit der Version 2.37 ein neues Treiberpaket für seine High Definition Audio-Codecs veröffentlicht. HDA-Soundchips aus Realteks ALC88x Serie sind z.B. auf vielen AM2, aktuellen AM2+ und neuen AM3 Mainboards anzutreffen und bieten 8-Kanal High Definition Sound. Seit der Version 2.25 ist nun auch ein WHQL-Treiber für Microsofts Windows 7 vorhanden. <blockquote><i>Driver Package R2.37
