Der kostenlose Audio Player AIMP ist in der neuen Version 2.60 Build 525 verfügbar. Das Projekt des russischen Entwicklers Artyom Izmajlov orientiert sich stark an Winamp, kommt jedoch viel schlanker daher. AIMP kann zwar keine Videos abspielen, unterstützt jedoch die gängigsten Audio-Formate. Das Programm unterstützt viele Sprachen, u.a. Deutsch, und sollte diese bei der Installation erkennen. In der neuen Version werden einige, teils kritische, Fehler behoben.
AIMP läuft unter Windows ab Windows 2000.
