News Preise für Arbeitsspeicher stabilisieren sich

Nachdem die Speicherpreise lange Zeit nur den Weg nach oben kannten, scheint sich nun eine Konsolidierung abzuzeichnen. Während die DDR3-Preise stagnieren, sinken die Preise für DDR2 bereits wieder.

Basierend auf Zahlen von inSpectrum hat DigiTimes die Preisentwicklung von Kontraktpreisen bei 2GB DDR2 und 2GB DDR3 Speichermodulen für den Zeitraum September bis Dezember gegenübergestellt.

Und dort zeichnet sich ab Dezember eine Trendwende sowohl bei DDR2-, als auch bei DDR3-Modulen ab. Allerdings dürfte sich dies bislang bei den geringen Veränderungen kaum auf den Retailmarkt auswirken.

Gleichzeitig sieht inSpectrum auch die Möglichkeit, dass der neue Trend nur kurze Zeit anhält, da einige Speicherhersteller sehr geringe Lagerbestände haben.
