News AMD stellt fünf neue Phenom II und Athlon II Modelle vor

Bereits Anfang dieser Woche stellte AMD fünf neue Prozessormodelle mit zwei bis vier Kernen und mit Taktraten zwischen 2,6 GHz und 3,2 GHz vor, die zu den Prozessorserien Phenom II und Athlon II gehören.
Mit dem AMD Phenom II X2 555 Black Edition bringt man dabei den mit 3,2 GHz bislang schnellsten Dual-Core Prozessor der AMD Produktfamilie mit einer TDP von 80 Watt heraus.
Sparsame Modelle mit einer TDP von 65 Watt erscheinen in Form des Phenom II X4 910e und des Athlon II X2 255. Athlon II X4 635 und Athlon II X3 440 nehmen die Spitzenpositionen in den Produktserien Athlon II X4 und X3 ein und unterbieten dabei den Preis ihrer Vorgänger.

Der Phenom II hat doch "nur" 512KB pro Kern.
Also hat der Dual-Core nur 1MB, du darfst die freigeschalteten Kerne nicht mit zu rechnen.
Leider kein AMD Phenom II X4 975 Black Edition und AMD Phenom II X4 820 bei.

Naja, für einen Wolfdale ist es eine Lachnummer, selbst die Werksangabe beim Wolfdale ist überhöht.
Für die "Phenom" DC ist es doch garnicht mal so viel.
Anscheinend werden die abgeschalteten Kerne recht schlecht stromlos geschaltet, wahrscheinlich klappt es deshalb so gut mit dem Freischalten.

Da bereits der Phenom II X2 550 eine TDP von 80 Watt hatte, ist es kein Novum.
Und es existieren auch noch ein paar weitere 80 Watt Phenom II X2.
(die TDP Klasse von 80 Watt ist aber bisher den Phenom II X2 exclusiv vorbehalten!)
