Download Miro 3.0.2

Das freie P2PTV-Programm Miro der Participatory Culture Foundation ist in der Version 3.0.2 verfügbar. Mit dem Programm lassen sich Video- und Audio-Podcasts aus ca. 7500 freien Kanälen abonnieren und abspielen. Das geschieht unter Verwendung der Media Player <a href="http://www.planet3dnow.de/cgi-bin/newspub/viewnews.cgi?id=1264950282">VLC</a> und xine (Windows, Linux), GStreamer (Linux) und Quicktime (Mac OS X). Für die Bereitstellung der Media-Dateien werden ein RSS-Reader und ein BitTorrent-Client verwendet.

Über die integrierte Suche lassen sich gezielt Inhalte finden. Anschließend lädt Miro z.B. Videos von einem Video-Portal wie YouTube herunter um sie dann unterbrechungsfrei von der Festplatte abspielen zu können.

Miro läuft unter Windows ab Windows XP, Mac OS X ab 10.4 (Tiger), Linux und BSD

Laeuft hier auf Ubuntu 9.10 und HD3300 einwandfrei..bisher..nur ein Absturz.. !
