Auf alle Fälle besser, als die ECS-Version. Es läuft definitiv mit 166 Mhz fsb. Dieser riesige Kühlkörper über den Spannungswandlern in Verbindung mit dem roten PCB macht natürlich auch gleich was her. Es bietet viele OC Optionen im BIOS und läuft auch sehr stabil.
Schade finde ich, dass auch MSI anscheinend nur 4 INT-Leitungen benutzt, obwohl der Chip wohl auch 8 hätte.
Wenn man das board einbaut, und das erste mal startet und (so wie ich) auf Wakü setzt, (also, ohne Lüfter) dann fängt das Board an, wie wild zu hupen und Piepen. Dann muss man das "D" auf der Tastatur drücken, um die Bios-Einstellungen zu ändern.

Bin von Leistung her recht zufrieden, aber hatte anfangs noch Probleme, die mich ziemlich an meine VIA686b-Zeit zurückerinnerte. Der Comp ist mit angeschlossenem USB-Modem (ELSA) einfach nicht hochgefahren. 1. Lösung: Modem austecken, bei bedarf bei laufendem Rechner einstöpseln. 2. Lösung: Im Bios den LPT-port deaktivieren. Hat von euch jmd schonmal so ne Erfahrung gemacht? Gibts irgendwo ne Liste wo man nach schauen kann wies mit den IRQs aussieht?

bin sehr zufrieden. Läuft sehr stabil, ist ausreichend schnell und für wenig Geld zu haben. Die gesparten Euros kann man dann in eine bessere Grka stecken...

Hab das Board wieder zurückgeschickt, da ich es mit meinen PCI Karten (SB Live, TV-Karte, Fritzcard DSL) nicht anständig zum laufen gebracht habe. Hab echt alles probiert, da ich kein Bock mehr auf VIA hatte und das 745 Ultra ansonsten eigentlich ganz gut fand. Aber wenns halt ned geht.....
Achja der chip (Kühler) wurde entgegen Berichten in diversen Reviews bei mir sauheiß.

JETZT hab ich doch noch nen Kritikpunkt gefunden: Die IDE-Anschlüsse sind viel zu weit unten. Mit nem Standard-IDE Kabel kann ich unmöglich ein DVD-Laufwerk und nen Brenner ans selbe Kabel anschliessen, da es viel zu Kurz ist. Dazu sind die Anschlüsse unter dem AGP-Slot, so dass auch noch die Graka im Weg ist.
Und dann hat es auch nur 2 Lüfter-Anschlüsse auf dem Board!?

Das Board läuft ausgesprochen zuverlässig und bietet mir eine bessere Performance als mein k7s5a. Durch die oc-Möglichkeiten super geeignet für Leute die gern übertakten. Einzig fehlt mir der onboard-Lan und noch ein dritter Lüfteranschluss.
Probleme hatte ich mit dem Sound(onboard)bei manchen Games. Lösung: in DirectX(dxdiag) einfach die Hardwarebeschleunigung für den onboard-Sound ausschalten.

so, hatte es 3 tage zum testen da und muß sagen, so schnell hat sich noch nie ein board installieren lassen. hab die treiber-cd in der hülle lassen können, da ich vorher das k7s5a drin hatte.
mit hochwertigem speicher kann man diesem board ordentlich leistung rauskitzeln, aggressive timings sind drin. mit meinem apacer cl2 ddr266- riegeln war ich allerdings der looser, die mag das board nicht unbedingt.
nachteilig finde ich die position der cpu auf dem board - bei mir direkt vorm netzteillüfter (unterseite netzteil) und den eingeschränkten platz um den cpu-sockel. hatte extreme schwierigkeiten, den kühler auf die cpu zu bekommen.

laeuft schon seit es ein 735er von ecs abgeloest hat stabil. ist aber eine reine surfstation.

Habe auf der Suche nach einem Goede-Untersatz das 745 Ultra reaktiviert. Neues BIOS 1.7 geflasht und schon Suche ich den angeblich neuen Eintrag: "Add "CPU Halt Command Detection" item in the BIOS Setup"
Wo ist denn dieser zu finden? Gibts noch jemanden, der diesen Key im 1.7er BIOS jemals gesehen hat? Ich fand lediglich eine S2k Disconect...
