Folgende Erfahrungen hab ich gemacht:

Release-BIOS 4.01:

Kein Starten mit einer ATi-Radeon 7500 (PC hängt sich im POST auf), Booten mit NVidia-basierter Karte ohne Probleme, serielle und parallele Schnittstellen bereiten keine Probleme.

Update auf beta-BIOS 4.01u (von der Webseite):

Start mit ATi-Karte funktioniert nun, dafür funktionieren die seriellen Schnittstellen nicht mehr und die parallele nur, wenn man sie im BIOS nicht auf Autoconfig stellt, sondern Interrupt und IO-Adresse manuell vorgibt.

Update auf beta-BIOS 4.02i (direkt von Tyan per mail bekommen):

Die oben beschriebenen Probleme gibt es nun nicht mehr.

Es bleibt ein Schönheitsfehler: Falls man einen Adaptec-SCSI-Controller zusammen mit dem Board betreibt und als Bootoption "Adaptec SCSI-CD-ROM" VOR der Platte eingetragen hat, wird entweder von der bootfähigen CD-ROM im SCSI-Laufwerk gebootet oder gar nicht, denn falls sich keine oder eine nicht bootfähige CD-ROM im Laufwerk befindet, wird schlicht gemeldet, daß kein Betriebssystem gefunden wurde; auf der Festplatte wird dann gar nicht mehr nachgesehen.

das hat sich bis heute nicht geändert.
es trifft genauso auf ide cd-roms zu.
