Getright 5.0 Final

Der beliebte Downloadmanager <a HREF=http://www.getright.com target=b>Getright</a> ist nun nach einer langen Betatest-Phase in der finalen Version 5.0 erschienen. Hier einige der wichtigsten Neuerungen: <ul><i><li>"QuickSync" and "Server Synchronizer". Two features for quickly and easily gathering many files off a website. QuickSync for sites you want to process once; Server Synchronizer for sites you want to keep matched with your computer (can just download changed files!) Plus the GetRight Browser now does subdirectories too. </li><li>"Direct Cookies" and "Web Site Login". These let you have GetRight log into web sites that use cookies to tell if you're logged in or not (such as groups.yahoo.com). Now can download from those sites! </li><li>Improvements to Automatic Downloading. Can use classic "Priority" order for downloads, or new "Exact Ordering" to drag-and-drop files into the exact order you want. Separated limits for Files and Segments for better control of connections. </li><li>Added a simpler option for Automatic Segmenting/Accelerating; just do X segments per file if it meets a minimum size. </li></i></ul>

Mag ja neu sein und vielleicht auch das beste seiner Art - aber bei mir läuft es seit Jahren instabil. Unter Win98, 98SE, ME und jetzt WinXP beendet sich GetRight ständig selbst, keinen einzigen Download hab ich mehr hingekriegt... Jetzt hab ich das kostenlose "FreshDownload" und das tut es auch.

Fresh-download hatet ich auch mal, fand es aber von den Funktionen nicht so toll. Ich benutze schon länger den stardownloader. der ist auch kostenlos, bietet aber fast alle features eines teuren (mehrere Quellen, resuming...). Kann ich bloß jedem empfehlen!

probier ich glatt aus - weitere Vorschläge?

Hi,
ich würde mich ja glatt von GetRight trennen....wenn "ES" mich lassen würde. Sobald der deinstalliert ist will z.B. IE noch immer über Getright downloaden und es klappt ganz einfach nicht.
Wenn ich was anderes installiere will die Kiste auchnoch per GetRight downloaden

Sorry, Jungs, aber wer den Schmarrn benutzt ist selber schuld. Wer Gator oder den ganzen aderen Mist cool findet, der kanns sich druff tun, aber was ad-aware zu Tage fördert, nachdem der Mist installiert ist, ist einfach haarsträubend und indiskutabel.

Ich werfe allen getright usern hiermit Inkompetenz oder Informations-Exhibitionismus vor

alles nur spass, aber kacke ist das programm trotzdem

adaware - du sagst es ... und was dann noch nicht weg ist wird per Firewall eingesperrt. Wo ist nun das Problem?

getright ist, soweit ich es noch weiß, seit version 4.5 ad-frei

Das stellt dann ja mal klar, das GetRight Spy-frei ist. Ist ja auch ein guter Werbegrund!

Hmm, Stardownloader ist auch ad- und spywarefrei. Aber Getright kostet doch was, um alle Funktionen nutzen zu können. Und Geld für nen Downloader auszugeben? Find ich etwas übertrieben! Aber jedem das seine. Viellecihjt lohnt es sich ja, das Ding nochmal anzusehen (damals hats auch was gekostet, nur hatet kaum andere Funktionen). Mal sehen...

Mir reichen die Funktionen voll und ganz aus. Automatisches Ausschalten, alles zeitgesteuert, was will man mehr?
