Vor der Version 4 existierten zwei verschiedene Pakete. Zum einen die Closed-Source-Variante ("full binary") und zum anderen die "Open Source Edition" (OSE), der ein paar Funktionen vorenthalten blieben. Seit der Version 4 stehen allen Nutzern sämtliche Funktionen zur Verfügung, wobei die zuvor der Closed-Source-Variante vorbehaltenen über das Extension Pack bereitgestellt werden.
VirtualBox ist für Windows, Mac OS X, Linux und Solaris verfügbar. Zu den unterstützten Gastsystemen zählen neben Windows, Mac OS X, Linux und Solaris auch OS/2, DOS und einige BSD-Derivate.<p style="clear:left">

Wenn du weißt wie man sowas technisch realisiert, dann bewirb dich doch als Entwickler bei Oracle.
Ich weiß aber nicht wie man sowas technisch realisiert. Möchtest Du daraus irgendwelche Schlüsse ziehen auf meine Berechtigung zu bedauern das das noch nicht realisiert wurde? Ich bin gespannt auf Deine Antwort, denn wenn man aus dem Forum die Beiträge von Leuten die eine fehlende Eigenschaft bedauern ohne Ahnung zu haben wie man diese realisiert entfernt wäre das Ergebnis möglicherweise sehr übersichtlich.
