Noch können die nicht ganz abgelöst werden (sterben aber). Hier wurde versucht bestimmte Datenbanken auf VMware zu ziehen. Das Zeuch hat in IOPS-lastigen Umgebungen mit Storageclustern nicht ansatzweise eine Chance gegen die Sparc-Systeme.

Welche Anzahl an Clients sind mit dem Sparc-Server(n) verbunden?
 
Kann ich nicht sagen. Auf den Systeme laufen Ldoms mit passende Oracle DBs. Ich bin Herr der Platten/SAN.
Der Grund ist nicht gefunden. Die Oracle DB hat auf den Datastores die Daten nicht mehr weg bekommen, obwohl die kaum/keinern Traffic/IOPS machen. Das Verfahren, über das ich nicht mehr sagen möchte, macht wohl intern einiges und dasmeiste im Hauptspeicher. 32 Cores IMHO, 64Gig RAM.
 
Mein Ryzen Mobile und RedBaron Ryzen und die APU eingepflegt...

Der AMD FX-8350 beibt weiterhin MD5 (und BogoMIPS, sofern das ein Richtwert wäre) König... Mein übertakteter Haswell kann noch gerade so an in den DES und DES3 Diszplinen vorne liegen und etwas bei den kleine AES mithalten. Bei AES256 liegen aber RedBaron Ryzen 1800X vorn. Bei SHA-512 liegt der Haswell vorn, aber bei SHA-1 und SHA-256 haben die Ryzen und sogar der Ryzen Mobile irgendwelche Turbos gezündet. :o Open SSL Vergleich mit Rechner Benchmarks
 
So, wie gewünscht hier mal meine Ergebnisse, hoffe das ist es was du haben wolltest. Linux ist nicht meine Welt. Habe Ubuntu 1804 LTS genutzt

Die CPU lief eigentlich bei 4.2GHz Allcore, aber Linux scheint die Energiesparmodi vom Bios zu übernehmen

Danke dir für extra Linux testen. *great* Ich hab ihn mal auf #1 gesetzt (nach AES 256 gewichtet), er gewinnt oft und wird nur noch in Einzeldisziplinen geschlagen. :D
 
Gerne, und wie das alles zu gewichten ist wissen wohl die erfahrenen Linux Nutzer ;)

Ich spiele ja eigentlich ganz gerne rum, aber Ubuntu ist nichts für mich. Mag eventuell auch an der Oberfläche liegen und dass ich zum ersten mal überhaupt, Linux genutzt habe, aber warm werde ich damit irgendwie nicht :)
