Ein wirklich zuverlässiges Board zum günstigen Preis. Hatte jedenfalls nicht einen Absturz. Wo vielleicht etwas gespart wurde ist die Qualität des Northbridge Lüfters. Der hielt bei Dauerbetrieb nur 4 Monate. In diesem Fall empfiehlt es sich, einen Passivkühlkörper z.B. von Zalman nachzurüsten.

Das AK31 ist ein gutes KT266A Board, nur leider meiner Meinung nach nur bedingt zum übertakten geeignet.
Bei 137MHz FSB ist schluss, gehe ich nur ein MHz höher, wird das System unstabil. Selbst mit teurem Corsair XMS2400 DDR-RAM war kein höherer FSB machbar.
1T Command Target läuft bei mehr als einem Speichermodul auch nicht stabil.
Im moment laufen zwei 256MB DDR-RAM's von Apacer (CL2). Soll ich mal das zweite Modul in die letzte Bank setzen?
Das sharen meiner Netgear FA312 Fast Ethernet PCI Karte mit der SB Live! 5.1 erzeugte Knackgeräusche während der Soundwiedergabe. (Unter WinXP) Umstecken der Netzwerkkarte in einen anderen PCI-Slot löste das Problem. Sie shared nun mit der Grafikkarte (GF4 TI4200). 9610 3DMarks 2001SE.

hab das AK31 rev3.1 seit November im Dauerbetrieb,
Lüfter ist nicht ausgefallen, da ich ihn nach wenigen Wochen abmontiert hatte weil er mir zu laut war... das Board läuft auch ohne rocksolid
bis 141MHz/2.7v laufen meine Apacer Cl2 stabil, darüber hinaus kommt es ab und an zu reboots, dieses möchte ich aber auf den Speicher zurückführen, nicht auf das Board.
Bei nem Kumpel läuft es mit schärfsten Timings (außer 1T) mit 146MHz...

Ich besitze dieses Board seit ca. 6 Monaten, und kann mich nur positiv äussern. Läuft absolut stabil und zuverlässig...sogar der NorthBridge Lüfter. Sehe keinen Grund es die nächste Zeit zu tauschen....strikt dem Motto "Never touch a running System"
Hab meins schon seit 8 Monaten und hatte bis jetzt noch keine Probs. Der NB Lüfter tut seinen Dienst auch noch. Ich kann es nur empfehlen. Overclocken ist bei mir nicht wirklich drin, da meine Apacer Rams nicht gerade OC freundlich sind.

Schliesse mich den positiven Meinungen an...
Bei mir läuft es auch seit fast 10 Monaten stabil, außer einigen kleinen Probs zu Anfang bin ich doch sehr zufrieden.Der NB lebt auch noch, ob der laut ist kA, dass höre ich nicht bei insgesammt 12 Lüftern (8*80er, 1*92er, 1*BlueOrb, 2*40er)
@Shaoqiang... keine Ahnung was du da für Probleme mit Crucial Riegeln hattest - ich habe die auch als "ECC"-Module und die sind super - funzen bei mir bis 11*152 MHz FSB/ 2.7 Vc incl. 1TCommand!
Das MBoard ist ohne übertakten schon super und somit würde ich wieder ein Shuttle/Spacewalker nehmen!!!8)

Kleiner Nachtrag1 14.12.2002: Besitze dieses MoBo immernoch - jetzt schon 12 Monate im Dauereinsatz -, und sehe derzeit auch keinen Sinn mich für einen KT333/KT400 zuentscheiden, da ich der Meinung bin "es ist der beste SPACEWALKER"!
Nachtrag2 27.01.2004: Das MOBO lebt immernoch ebenso der NB-Lüfter jetzt verrichtet er seine Arbeit als Netzwerk-Server mit Linux 9.0 und funktioniert immernoch ohne Probleme.

meiner meinung das beste board mit KT266A chip. der NB kühler wurde seid dem einbau meiner wakü durch nen zahlmann passiv ersetzt.
der multiplikator 14 geht nicht und 13 ist 12,5. den FSB bekomme ich bis 152/153 mehr ist nicht drin.
die RAM timings sind dann 4,2,2,6,2,1. das höchste was man mit dem board stabil erreichen kann sind 1820 mhz aus nem xp1600+ (145*12,5(13)oder 150*12). dann läuft das ohne mucken.
grössere kühler liegen auf der halterung das NB kühlers auf, ist aber nicht schlimm weil ja ne feder drunter ist.
sound ist auch nicht schlecht.
AGP halterung ist abgebrochen, das ding war echt müll.
Bios: neuste version 04/17/2002 der vorteil ist das hohe prozzis mit ihren namen z.b. XP2200+ angezeigt werden und nicht nur der takt, und man hat bei QuakeIII 10 frames mehr. beim 3DMark ungefähr 150 punkte mehr.

Allerdings T-Bred ungeeignet, da es Shuttle nicht einsieht mal ein neues Bios zu programmiern

...habe mal in der overclockers.com Datenbank bissl gestöbert, gerade beim T-Bred 1700/2100+ sind einige User dabei, die das AK31rev3.1 als Grundlage angeben...
hat denn noch niemand versucht einen solchen Prozzi auf das Board zu schrauben?

wenn ich in diesem Zusammenhang auf das Shuttleforum von amdmb.com verweisen darf, T-Bred´s bis 2100+ scheinen kein Problem zu sein...

so, mein Board das AK31 v3.1 hat nun schon mehrere CPU-Generationen überlebt, Duron750, Duron 900, XP1600+, XP2000+ und letztendlich läuft auch ein T-Bred 1700+ in dem Board !!!
Nie Probleme gehabt bis auf den Ausfall eines Ram- Slots, aber sind ja noch 3 andere da
Im Moment ist das System zugestopft von unten bis oben, und ich hab nicht ein einzigen Konflikt oder Ähnliches, astrein !!
xp1700+ @ 2000+ (mehr geht nicht ohne FSB-OC)

Ich besitze das Board seit November 2001, normalerweise läuft mein Rechner jeden Tag ca. 7-10 Stunden.
Der NB-Lüfter ist schon 2x nach jeweils 4 Monaten ausgefallen (machte Geräusche), bekam von Shuttle jedoch umgehend Ersatz.
Ist aber nicht schlimm, das Board läuft auch problemlos ohne.
Sonst hab ich keine Probleme mit dem AK31 3.1 gehabt.
Ne Frage zu dem 1700+ T-Bred. Muss man den dann per Draht unlocken ?
Im Bios kann man dann den Multi einstellen, oder braucht man den Drahttrick nicht ?
