"I cannot say that Abit KR7A is the best KT266A motherboard on the market because I haven't tested all the KT266A boards. But I can say for sure that Abit KR7A is the fastest motherboard ever tested at PC Hardware. Please note that I haven't said the most stable because luckily all boards tested were extremely stable and a comparison is hard to make. Abit succeeded once again to come up with the easiest setup and with the best BIOS possible. Another key feature of the KR7A board is the UDMA133 HTP372 RAID controller. The board doesn't come with monitoring functions which can be considered a lack, but if we take a look to the motherboard as a whole, it is near to perfection for users seeking for extreme performance: very good stability, six PCI slots, RAID, an exceptional memory support. In fact the memory support is what I appreciate most to Abit KR7A. 3.5Gb of RAM are suitable even for small web host servers. Well, AMD is not appreciated in this segment, but I hope that things will change soon with the motherboards reliability increase."
