VIA Audio-Treiber 311b

VIA hat für seine integrierten Soundlösungen der Southbridges VT8231, VT82C686A/B, VT8233/A, VT8233C und VT8235 einen neuen Soundtreiber released. Folgende Neuerungen seit 3.11 wurden eingebaut:

2002/08/16 (Ver 3.11b)
1. WDM driver(WIN98SE):
(a) Remove VIAUDIO.CAT file, because Microsoft does not accept Windows 98SE
WHQL submission from 7/1/2002.

* 2002/08/09 (Ver 3.11a)
1. Install program:
(a) Fixing installation failed problem under Windows 98SE.
(b) Fixing control panel uninstall probelm under Windows XP and 2000.
2. WDM driver(WIN98SE, WIN2000, WINME, WINXP):
(a) Packing MS WHQL Logo CAT file into this package.
(b) Collect more SUBSYS ID to VIAUDOEM.INF
3. 68\WINNT40 68 family Windows NT 4.0 driver:
(a) This NT 4.0 driver is V1.60.
(b) Fixing that when playing a JAVA program (Empire Player), after we
press the "submit button" or "Get Next question", it will lost sound.
(c) Fixing some problem on playing a special wave file(ArabMusic.wav), the
issue is at SRC (software sample rate converter).
(d) Fixing Ephone problem. If we used Ephone and set CPU busy, recording
will lost data and stop.
