Abit hat für folgende Mainboards neue BIOS Versionen released: Abit NF7-S Rev. 1.0-1.2, Abit NF7 / NF7-M Rev. 1.0-1.2, Abit NF7 / NF7-S Rev. 2.0 (alle nVidia nForce2), Abit AT7 MAX2, Abit KD7 / KD7-Raid (alle VIA KT400). Die Compile-Daten der BIOS-Versionen liegen jeweils schon einige Zeit zurück, veröffentlicht wurden sie allerdings erst jetzt. Achtung: Die Board-Revisionen bei den Boards der NF7-Serie müssen unbedingt beachtet werden! Folgende Fixes wurden implementiert:
1. Please use AWDFLASH 8.23D or later to update NF7 series BIOS. With incorrect AWDFLASH version, the GUID will be erased, and leads to IEEE1394 peer to peer function failed. AWDFLASH 8.23D is included in this BIOS package. 2. Change the write-protection mechanism of Flash ROM programming. 3. Support Thorton, Throughbred, Barton 2600+ CPU. 4. The default value on DRAM Ration changes to "Auto". 5. Added "CPU Disconnect Function"option on chipset to turn on/off C1 disconnect. 6. The CPU frequency 1917Mhz revised to 1916MHz. 7. DMI Pool data shows to"socket A". 8. The default value of "Memory Timing" revises to "Optimal". 9. Fix the problem that system can not detect USB Device under WinME while resume from S3,S4 mode, and lead to usb connector failed. 10. Fix system can not show fan speed in PC Health Status while using lower speed FAN. 11. Add "IDE Bus Master" function to improve transfer speed of GHOST, and default value set up to disabled. 12. Fix the problem while disabled"IDE Controller", and truned off IDE Controller, it would fail to share IRQ 14, 15;thus, IDE Controller 13. would NOT be turned off, it would show "IDE Controller"IRQ to be "NA" in PCI list. 14. Provides "AGP aperture size" option for NF7-M, while use on chip VGA.
Abit NF7 / NF7-S Rev. 2.0:

Fix the problem that if used CPU 400FSB without User Define,it would ot show DDR xxx (xxx=200,266,333,400). 5. The default value of CPU FSB/DRAM freq revises to "Auto". 6. Adds "CPU Disconnect Function" to adjust C1 disconnects. The Chipset does not support C2 disconnect; thus, disable C2 function. 7. Fixes DMI Pool data to be Socket A, Product Name: NF7-S/NF7 (nVidia- nForce2), Version: 2X. 8. The frequency of CPU 1917Mhz revised to 1916MHz. 9. Update SIP table to solve systems crashed issue while using 400FSB CPU+DDR 333, and revise the SIP Table of 266FSB CPU. 10. The default value of "Memory Timings" revises to "Optimal". 11. Updates BPL to be 2.94. 12. Fix system can not show fan speed in PC Health Status while using lower speed FAN. 13. Add "IDE Bus Master"function to improve transfer speed of GHOST, and default value set up to disabled. 14. Fix the problem that systems can not detect USB Drvice under WinME resume from S3,S4 mode, and lead to usb connector failed. 15. Fine tune the OC ability of 333FSB CPU.
Abit AT7 MAX2:
1. Follow AMD's recommendation that "CPU Disconnect Function" should be implemented to make CPU slow down in idle state, and the default value sets up to Enable. 2. Follow AMD's recommendation to revise the trigger timing of LM90 for Palomino CPU(model 6). 3. Support Barton 2600+(333 FSB) and Thorton2000+(266 FSB) / 2200+(266 FSB) / 2400+(266 FSB) / 2600+(333 FSB). 4. Revises some CPU frequency(1466,1666,1916,2166)to be AMD officially suggested figures (1467,1667,1917,2167). 5. HPT 374 BIOS version 1.23.
Abit KD7 / KD7-Raid:
1. Follow AMD's recommendation that "CPU Disconnect Function" should be implemented to make CPU slow down in idle state, and the default value sets up to Enable. 2. Follow AMD's recommendation to revise the trigger timing of LM90 for Palomino CPU(model 6). 3. Fix the SCSI BIOS malfunction problem when three add-on cards installed together, PCI S3 VGA + GF4MX420 + DC390U3W(at PCI-1). 4. Supports Barton 2600+(333 FSB)and Thorton2000+(266 FSB) / 2200+(266 FSB) / 2400+(266 FSB) / 2600+(333 FSB). 5. Revises some CPU frequency(1466,1666,1916,2166)to be AMD officially suggested figures.(1467,1667,1917,2167).
