Foobar2000 - ein Freeware-Audio-Player für Windows - nähert sich der Fertigstellung in der Version 1.0, da die aktuelle und insgesamt sechste Beta-Version aller Voraussicht nach auch die letzte sein wird.
Foobar2000 unterstützt im Standard die Audio-Formate MP3, MP4, AAC, CD Audio, WMA, Vorbis, FLAC, WavPack, WAV, AIFF, Musepack, Speex, AU und SND. Zusätzliche Formate werden durch die Installation von Plugins unterstützt.
Liste der Änderungen in der Beta 6:
* Bug fixed: Inconsistent behaviors of the "Colors and Fonts" preferences page when importing themes or using the "Quick Appearance Setup" dialog. * Shoutcast stream titles are now parsed as UTF-8, allowing Unicode characters. * Improved compatibility with (unofficial?) FLAC multichannel specification. * Internal clean-ups and fixes.
