Der kostenlose Audio Player AIMP ist in der neuen Version 2.61 Build 560 verfügbar. Das Projekt des russischen Entwicklers Artyom Izmajlov orientiert sich stark an Winamp, kommt jedoch viel schlanker daher. AIMP kann zwar keine Videos abspielen, unterstützt jedoch die gängigsten Audio-Formate. Das Programm unterstützt viele Sprachen, u.a. Deutsch, und sollte diese bei der Installation erkennen. Mit der neuen Version wurden einige Fehler behoben.
