Das Hardware Monitoring Tool Core Temp ist kürzlich in der Version 0.99.6 erschienen und erfährt mit dem Update auf Version 0.99.6.1 einige Fehlerbehebungen.
Mit dem kleinen, kostenlosen Programm lassen sich alle Kern-Temperaturen der verbauten CPU(s) auslesen und loggen. Außerdem zeigt das Programm die Minimal- und Maximaltemperatur einer Sitzung an. Um vor einem Hardware-Schaden zu schützen, gibt es eine Overheat protection, welche eine Meldung beim Erreichen der selbst festgelegten kritischen Temperatur ausgibt.
Core Temp läuft unter Windows ab Windows XP und ist einer 32Bit und einer 64Bit-Version verfügbar.
