"Both boards have very similar features such as ATA133, four DDR-DIMM’s and obviously the KT266A chipset that makes these boards the speed demons they are. This is Shuttle’s second attempt at a KT266A board and if I were to judge the AK35 on Shuttle’s past efforts, I would imagine it’s going to be one hell of a great board. For Abit this is going to be the first time they have used the KT266A chipset, in fact it’s the first time Abit have used the KT266 chipset at all. It seems once the KT133A days were over AMD took over as Abit’s Socket A provider delivering the goods with the 760 chipset. Today the AMD 760 is no longer the fastest chipset for the Socket A platform and Abit have caught on to this fact."
