CeBIT News: ATI stellt Chipsätze für AMD-Prozessoren vor

ATI unveils the RADEON™ IGP family of integrated graphics processors for AMD processor-based platforms

HANOVER, Germany - ATI Technologies Inc. (NASDAQ: ATYT, TSE: ATY) is bringing its award-winning RADEON™ technology to the integrated graphics chipset market with the launch of the RADEON™ IGP family, the world's most powerful, feature-rich integrated graphics processors for the desktop and mobile PC markets. The announcement will be made today at CeBIT, the world's largest technology show.
The new RADEON IGP family includes two 'Northbridge' integrated graphics processors: the RADEON™ IGP 320 (supporting AMD Athlon™ and AMD Duron™ processors) for the mainstream and value desktop PC market, and the RADEON™ IGP 320M (supporting mobile AMD Athlon™ 4 and mobile AMD Duron™ processors) for the mainstream and value notebook PC market.

Wie man bei Heise Online desweiteren in diesem Artikel erfährt, hat ATI mit diesen Chipsätzen wohl eher den OEM-Markt im Visier - kein Wunder bei einem Chipsatz mit integrierter Grafik.

Als strategische Partner nannte ATI die Mainboard-Hersteller FIC, Fujitsu-Siemens und Gigabyte sowie die eher im OEM-Geschäft bekannten bekannten Arima, Compal, Lite-On, PC Partner, PowerColor, Quanta, Wistron und Sapphire.
