Der MP 2800+ taktet intern mit 2133MHz und hat weiterhin den älteren FSB266 (133MHz DDR). Zudem wurde die Kernspannung gegenüber den Athlon XP Bartons von 1,65 Volt auf 1,60 Volt abgesenkt, was rund 8 Watt weniger Leistungsaufnahme im Vergleich zum Athlon XP 2800+ bedeutet. Der Großhandelspreis beträgt 275$ bei der Abnahme von 1000 Stück.
